I did show them but they said Screwattack owns the rights to the logo. I would have to pay for it or give them a cut probably. Im sure alot of his fans would have loved that one and he has many.

I'm sure you could ask Mike if it would be ok to sell or give him one on the side,
What do you say Mike?, check out his custom nes's, there are pretty sweet!
I kinda still wanted to do one and just give it to the nerd. Im sure he would show it or use it on one of his videos. Then it, and I will be famous!!!!
i think selling out his "character" to another company like game trailers, which is really owned by MTV i believe, i think that was a mistake on his part. that just someone else controlling your character for their own profit and now he just gets a cut. he could have easily reached the same level of fame (and probably money) if he took the steps to do everything on his own to promote the character
but regaurdless im still a big fan and enjoy all his videos. AVGN and jigga2jones are my two favorite people on youtube
I have heard he is a really nice guy in person, but I personally don't care for his videos at all. They have great production quality but I don't much care for the content. It is always nice to have new people here though
Well, he would have sold out his brand to Screwattack, which is controlled by a normal guy like us (Craig). They (Screwattack) have an agreement to post specific content on Gametrailers with temporary exclusivity as one of their revenue streams.
I just realized I've never heard of AVGN, only the irate Gamer. Apparently Irate Gamer is just a knock-off of AVGN, but I personally always loved his videos. Maybe I'll watch a AVGN one whenever I have some spare time...
AVGN was funny to me when I saw his first few videos, waaay back in the beginning when he was still publishing independently... when he was still just the "Angry Nintendo Nerd"... but unfortunately, for me, it got old very quickly after he started complaining about perfectly fine games like TMNT.
I don't doubt that he's a nice guy, and if I had a cow I would probably milk the hell out of it too... but nitpicking video game reviewers with Tourette's syndrome aren't as hard to come by as they used to be.

I am. I wanted to make an AVGN edition custom NES but Screwattack wouldnt let me. It would have been beautiful.
I watch the AVGN regularly. It's always fun to hear about some of the more obscure games.

sometimes the effects and bullshit gets a little over the top, but it's still the best out there.
For the rest i like Screwattack alot too, especially Video Game Vault.. Craigs voice is the best voice-over ever

It's a little outdated, and me and a friend made it right before I joined NA and really got some of my facts straight, but I think it's still decent
