Rare game Boy Manuals

Assume these are "very good" in condition.



Belmont's Revenge i seem to remember being around $20, but am not sure of a concrete value



I figure Rolan's Curse 2 to be like $40-50, but i could be totally wrong



Hatris is probably worthless, but I don't see it very often



 The other 2 I have no clue. If anyone can help, much appreciated.

    You'll be lucky to even get $4-$5 each out of Classic Bubble Bobble and Quest Brian's Journey. Unless something has changed with GB manuals, the pricing for the Rolan's Curse 2 manual is probably around 10% of the CIB value. That's been the general rule of thumb for Game Boy games for a while now.

    I wasn't sure, cause I used to think 10% too...but then I see Metroid II manuals go for like 20-25% and I've seen Minish Cap manuals sell for a lot ($15-18 which is like 25%) wanted to make sure especially on the Rolan's 2 since it seems to be a real hidden gem and a hard CIB to find.


     


    Have you or anyone ever heard of one selling?

    That rule of thumb does seem to change when it comes to the 1st party Nintendo games, perhaps due to nostalgia. I do feel that most Game Boy manuals don't sell for anywhere near what you would think they'd be worth. In some cases I'm surprised that the manuals aren't worth half of what their respective boxes go for. The GB is a strange collecting jungle.



    I don't believe that I've seen the RC 2 manual sold by itself. I'm sure that it has been sold by itself, I was just likely not around to see it. I can't remember the last time I saw a CIB copy of that game sell either, unfortunately.

    Yea I'd agree now that I think about it. I'll probably BIN it at $30 and take the first $15-20 offer.



    $40 was a shot in the dark, a sentimental price cause I love this game so much.

    You know, if somebody is in the market for one, I'd guess around $100-$200.

    Manuals aren't that pricey individually. I'd say Rolan's Curse 2 is $15 and Sumo Fighter is probably $60-$75.

    That's a no brainer, the cart sells for around that and higher. The manual if you go by Jone, is an easy $50+

    Manuals aren't necessarily easy sells at all. You could be sitting on it for a year while waiting for someone to get a CB that needs it. The majority of the value is in the boxes.

    Yeah manuals do sit. They sometimes take up to a year on the rarer stuff, but if reasonably priced. I'd be very surprised if you put this at $50 if this sat longer than a month
