NES Stereo Audio Mod help

Im looking to add stero audio to my front load nes as found here:

The thing is i want the fader knob to add in mono slowly if some games dont sound right.

Does anyone know what knob i need to look for and how to wire it to fade it in?

awesome, reading that helped, I've been reading around and I think what I need is a dual-gang potentiometer this way I have 1 knob to add an even level of mono sound to each side of the stereo to full mono at max.
