Favorite Subway sandwich?

  • A toasted foot long chicken and bacon ranch on wheat with shredded cheese.
  • TUNA 4 LIFE!
  • LOVE tuna as well. That's the only thing I get from Subway.

However, I'll take Quiznos over Subway any day, particularly a chicken carbonara on rosemary parmesan bread. Yum!
  • Seems like a bunch of you guys like the meatball subs, I may have to try one out. For some reason, I can't stand flatbread. It makes my throat hurt for some reason. =\ Same with vitamin water.

Meatball sub. Foot long, through on some cheese and sauce, nothing else. Very simple, classic.

I'm the same as you gents - keeping it simple with the meatball sub!

My "go to" sub is the meatball on italian herb and cheese bread, easy on the sauce, double (white) cheese, with black pepper.  Depending on my mood, I might get it toasted, but sometimes I find it dries out the sub more than I'd like.
  • Roast Chicken on Flatbread or Italian, with Southwest sauce. I don't abuse the toppings system

I feel the exact same way.  Even though the price is higher, the quality of sub is better imo.  And that Chicken Carbonara is great.

  • Veggie Delight with sweet onion.

Everything else gives me mud butt.

I worked construction for years near a subway and it gets gnarly.
  • Italian BMT with whatever spicy stuff I can throw at it.
  • Veggie Patty on Italian Herbs and Cheese bread with shredded cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, olives, banana peppers, extra extra extra pickles, chipotle sauce, salt and pepper. Toasted.
  • Why can't an honest thread go without someone saying, I hate that, or it sucks, this is better. If you don't like subway, you don't have a favorite sandwich from there, why did you click on the thread? I don't like rap music, I'm not going to click on a thread about it, just to say I don't like it.

Back to the topic on hand

    Footlong Italian herb and cheese

    Meatball (with little sauce)

    Pepper jack cheese

    Southwest chipotle (on before vegetables)

    Tomato

    Lettuce

    Onions

    Green peppers

    Banana peppers

    And jalapeños

I think I may go one now that I'm craving one.
  • well i get the regular Italian or black forest ham

but i do tend to get the chef boyardee sub they have a.k.a meatball sub

Well I did make a point at the start of the thread that if anyone hated subway, they can post anything else they'd rather eat.. So anyone's point that they don't like it or would rather eat something else is pretty valid because I did say it was okay. lol So no worries.

As far as why they would even click a link about Subway when they hate it is simle: It's random. A sandwich post on a game forum? Heck, even if I hated Subway, I would still click it out of morbid curiousity.

So for anyone who doesn't like Subway food, you can still feel free to post what you'd rather eat or where. And I would love to thank all of you for giving into your temptations. >8D

  • I have 3 I decide from:

    1. Chicken breast on the flatbread with lettuce, onions, green peppers, Swiss cheese, and light mayo mixed with spicy mustard

    2. Tuna with Swiss cheese, same veggies as above, no dressing, all on a wheat roll

And the 3rd is the "I feel like being a porker" is the Italian bmt, same veggies and cheese, and spicy mustard.
  • Hahaha laugh all you want but I love a footlong Tuna on Honey Oat. Just the Tuna, nothing else. Mmmmmmmmm.
  • Italian B.M.T. on Italian Herbs n Cheese bread, Pepperjack Cheese, Toasted.

    Spinach, Tomatoes, Black Olives, Onions

Mayo, Red-Wine Vinegar and Parmesan cheese

(edit) side note: I switched to spinach years ago because its good for you, and I can honestly not imagine my sub any other way. I recommend it.
  • Chicken & Bacon Ranch Melt with cucumbers, green peppers, lettuce with honey mustard and mayo. It's called YUMMMMMMMMMM!!!
  • Bacon, egg, cheese(usually American, sometimes provolone). I ask that the "sandwich artist" puts the bacon as the top layer prior to toasting, so it gets a little more crispy as opposed to the rubbery texture it can get being under the cheese. Salt and pepper, a small amount of olives, and sometimes light mayo. Honey oat bread.

Second choice is the meatball. Also on honey oat, toasted. Olives, oregano, parmesan.

Final choice - Spicy Italian, honey oat, NOT toasted (as it gets a bit greasy for my taste). Olives, pickles, mustard (brown or yellow, don't care). Sometimes I get a little crazy and get ranch or vinegar and oil.

If I get the combo meal, I usually get a coke and those jalapeno kettle chips.

Also, I think the cookies at Subway are gross.
  • Italian her and cheese bread, black forest ham, bacon, turkey, cheddar cheese, lettuce, honey mustard, mustard, and creamy sriracha (that super spicy sauce, the mustard and honey mustard make it not so spicy)... Delicious
  • American Steakhouse Melt

    image
  • Foot long Italian bread, Roast beef, Provolone, Toast it, Lettuce, Olives, Mayo. in fact i don't think i've ever had a different combe at subway
  • I usually get a foot long meatball with just cheese and toast it. I'm boring.
  • I get:

    Six-inch wheat bread

    Oven-Roasted Chicken

    Provolone Cheese (sometimes Pepperjack)

    Double toasted

    Spinach

    Tomatoes

    Onions

    Green Peppers

    Banana Peppers

    Avocado Spread (when available)
  • I'm noticing a few of the American's chiming in with choices of provolone and pepperjack cheese?

Up here in Canada it's usually only white cheddar (mozzarella?), orange cheddar & swiss. Oh, and shredded cheese (mix of orange and white cheddar) at some locations.
  • Foot long Pizza Sub "Custom made"

    Italian BMT

    Bread: Italian herbs and cheese

Have the sandwich artist spread marinara sauce on the bread or if you prefer on the cheese after the meat and cheese get added.

    Meats, Italian BMT fixings.

Cheese, Pepper jack or Mozzarella what ever you prefer.

Now I Like mine with a little veggies on it.

    Lettuce

    Pickle

    Olive

    Spices and extra's

    Salt

    Pepper

    Oregano

    Oil

    Vinegar

May sound strange to others but its pretty damn good! Can do both non toasted or toasted!
  • Foot Long

    Italian Bread

Meatballs+ whatever sauce is on the bread from the meatballs

    Two slices of white chedder

    Toasted

    Simple, and delicious. :9
  • Woah, for a second I thought this was a Blooper thread and it was going to have something to do with GameCube

Anyways.. I generally rock the meatball sub. Hard to go wrong with it, and basically can add anything to it you want
  • I haven't eaten at Subway in a long time but if any of you watched Sharknado 2 you'd know why I've been thinking about Subway lately lol. Usually I go with Spicy Italian on Italian with Pickles, Onions, and both Hot Peppers. Or Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki.

Sometimes my work orders the party package where a Subway truck shows up full of free sammiches. Those are good work days.
  • My order when going to subway

"Footlong Spicy Italian on Italian herb and cheese Toasted with Monterey Jack."

    Vegies?

"Everything you have except for Pickles, spinach, and avocado, and if you could go heavy on the Cucumber and onions"

    Sauce?

    "Just a little hot sauce"

    Salt and pepper?

"Yes please, and some Parmizzan and Organo as well"
