Flappy Bird NES demo

Here's a little demo of Flappy Bird on the NES I threw together to get my feet wet. I wrote this a while back and rather doubt I'll revisit it because, after all, it's only Flappy Bird... it's playable, even if I didn't finish up the parallax, menus, sound, etc.



I figured someone might get a few minutes of enjoyment from this, so rather than letting it rot I'll share the ROM and a video of it running in an emulator. If anyone happens to test it on real hardware please let me know if it works or not.

    Looks good. Just played it for a few minutes and got a highscore of 2! Never played the original or any other versions before though...

    Eh... I think it looks slightly harder than the original... really well done, though. I gotta try it out. I'm always up for any game ever ported to the NES, they're the best kind of homebrews IMO.

    Thanks for the kind words, everyone. I have little idea how accurate the gameplay of this 'port' is, because I've never played any version of Flappy Bird. It just seemed like a simple enough game to try on the NES, so I watched a few gameplay videos and tried to make it suitably frustrating. Sounds like I didn't fail miserably at least!
