The Doctor has arrived
Forget Dr Mario, Dr Wily, Dr Feelgood and Dr Phil, Dr Frizzle has arrived to bring the SMACKDOWN on some...stuff. I don't know, anyway, figured I'd join, I've always wanted to meet other people into retro gaming and stuff. Been meaning to make videos, but I'm lazy and have writers block so woooooo.
I've collected since I was younger, but being poor tends to mean you have to sell things you don't exactly need quite often. I've recently restarted a collection of N64 stuff, besides the gameboy, it's probably the system I have the most memories of, but I've always held a lot of interest in NES and SNES stuff, though I should really give the Sega systems a chance, dat blast processing.
I kinda missed out on the NES and SNES as they were at their height of popularity, hell, I was 6 years old when the N64 came out, but I somehow ALWAYS just loved old school gaming culture, older games always just seemed so much more amazing to me, I bought up lots of Nintendo Power magazines and just lived through it too late to really experience it with other people.
This ALSO means I grew up through the extremes of pokemon fever and pretty much nothing else shaped my childhood as much as pokemon, other than perhaps dragon ball z, but as far as gaming goes, it was all about pokemon.
Nowadays, I have a massive love and fascination with gaming history, it's become a bit of a secret hobby of mine.
Not really sure what else to say, my brain's a bit "cloudy" so I feel I just rambled nonsensically, which I plan to do a lot of.

I sometimes wonder how the younger generations view the retro era and if they get excited about the older games. I'm really glad to hear that you've found some interest in them. And yes, please do give Sega a chance
