How to Fix a Nes Cart?

Hi There!



In the last year I Bought a copy of Chiller for NES... I paid only 3 Dollars in a GAme Old shop on my City (São Paulo).

The Cart is in god condition, but the game don´t work, i try to clean the game and try to run in another Nes consoles, but unfornatelly the game don´t show any trace of life...



I want to know if exist some way to check if the carts is garbage or exists some way to repair...



I will appreciate for any help...

    This topic went nowhere before. Maybe contact Megamanfan and see if he was ever able to fix his, although, his sounds like it may have been a different issue.

    I actually bought Andy's [Megamanfan] after I could not get it to work for him. I determined it to be a rom issue since everything else was tested and a swap did the same thing on the other cart's pcb. Chiller carts seem to have issues with the rom going bad, but that usually causes the game to not start after the menu boots. If your cart is totally dead, you should open it up and give it a real good cleaning. Might get lucky and not have a bad rom... :-/

    Dewisp02, I try to clean up the cart, but don´t work, I have two NES one with lockout chip and other without lockout chip in both System the game don´t run.



    I sent to a guy try to fix... but he don´t have time to look...

    I feel like I've heard of a lot of Chiller carts that stop working. This the the third instance actually. Do other AVE carts get messed up often? Like Shockwave and Deathrace?
