nestopia is reading the header wrong, or it's set wrong. either way it shouldn't matter, that's all mapper controlled. so your components/board are bad or something is connected wrong.
Its MMC3C but ive never heard of that, nor have had any problems like this before with any MMC revision.
I reburned the PRG on another 27c301 chip, hoping its something with my old chip. I got no idea why im getting this error. Theres a slight chance its the pins and they need to be cleaned better? But the graphic problems im having are only level scrolling related.
Well its not the chip or the wiring, its gotta be the board, or ram. This is bugging the crap outta me.
Well then you should be good.
Ive always had that problem with MMC3A. Its not a very common version so you may have not run into it often.

If you mean connected wrong by my wiring thats def not the case. Its gonna be the board, altho im not exactly sure what the problem is. Is the game just scrolling in one direction instead of the other? Cant I set the TSROM like TKSROM and have single screen mirroring Vertically or is that just not the case here? Im not sure whats exactly wrong, either the actual MMC3 chip, or the resistors/capacitors, or even the wram? I have another TSROM board that looks clean (altho CHR 1st pin i fucked up, but thats left floating anyway) the graphics are just all jumbled. All the other pins are solid.
i would by another TSROM board, but id rather try to fix this one to get a better understanding of the mechanics of the board for scrolling. I still have some difficulty with the concept for MMCs.
RvsT is supposed to have mapper controlled mirroring. Converting it to TKSROM is not the right solution, you have something else that needs fixing. Anything on the board can be bad, or even the board itself, although those are uncommon cases.
I need to reread this whole thread before I make suggestions.
Well when I set it to vertical scrolling, or four screen mirroring there seems to be no issues, only when set to Horizontal. Anyway no need to look at the whole thread. Half of it is getting the 27c301 chips to work which I figured out (both PRG and CHR) and this half is my scrolling issue with the game.
New TSROM board... same problem! Now I have not a clue why. Gonna jump over to NESDEV and see if they can straighten this out too.
*EDIT*
I found another ROM of the game that now says it has four screen mirroring, but upon comparing the rom files, the only difference is in the header code.
