Hey guys, RonaldCoLtd here. . I'm here to say that I will most likely delay development of Super Mario World: Deluxe Edition for awhile. I simply cannot get my head straight, and I've been going through tough personal problems as well, which is why I haven't been updating a lot. I was right on track with SMW: DE until I heard the news that one of my close friends has passed away, and that put me in a depression like state for 3 months, thus ignoring development of all my games.
I'm sorry, and all of you that pre-ordered can cancel if you want to.
Think his ambition (ronald's) was bigger then his understanding on how tough it is to not only make a working, good, viable hack that's 100% playable on an SNES... but to also produce quality manuals/boxes in a decent quantity.
It can indeed be tough, but if you love doing it, making a hack of that size isn't so hard. It just takes a long time to learn everything, get a feel for level design and fill the game with content. Though I think any avid Mario player can dictate what makes a good level (or good game for that matter).
In case anyone wants a spot, and if this is still being developed, I noticed DreamStar is on the list. Since he was banned a long time ago, that means an open spot
Dude's still probably pretty bummed out, checked out his site not long back. If you do come back make mine a CIB and I cane help you do up a manual and box proper. Good luck regardless man.
