e-Zine Vol. 3 Issue 2: Member Spotlight: Grooveraider
I'd like to thank the staff members of NintendoAGE in regards to the Member Spotlight.
It was truly an honor to be featured
I've included some photos of the few momentos i've kept having attended the Nintendo World
Championships 1990 at Universal Studios Hollywood, California. Hope you enjoy !
In the pics: My sorta worn out NWC 1990 ballcap ( yes, I wore it with pride in public )
Friends of mine came along for the Nintendo event which explains the extra event program copies.
The Powerfest competition admission ticket gave you three chances to make onto the PowerWalk .
The Super Mario plush doll was given out to those who participated in the qualification rounds.
The Powerfest 1990 ad clipping was from the Los Angeles Times "Calendar" section printed
Sunday, October 7, 1990
NOTE: The Pocket Power copies were obtained after 3 screenings of The Wizard in Hollywood in '90
Yes, I did it all for the quick glimpse of Super Mario Bros. 3

Its why I like coming to NintendoAGE because there's always something interesting to learn and
share.
was this LA stop the one where chris tang won?
Yes, it was Chris Tang in the first week of the L.A. stop.
Thanks for letting me interview you!!!
Mew, you're just awesome. Thanks for putting up with my service provider that day - lol
damn i want that hat. so much nicer than the painters caps
That's funny I also wanted that NWC painters cap, too! I kept seeing people with them on
around the PowerWalk.
Yeah, I realized the Competition admission tickets were different from locations which the NWC
was held - interesting.
The member spotlight was my favorite part of the new ezine. Thanks for sharing your story.
I like people who say this.
