To the others who have / have yet to receive their copy: Let's try to keep it to existing threads, there are like 4 or 5 Happy Camper threads on the "latest topics." Some are different stuff, but I think there's enough.
Sorry Jason, I'm glad that your game is well-received...but there's a lot of threads
^^cool... and i got mine today too... man thx alot jason you make some really nice stuff. i cant wait till tomarrow when i try this out, it looks like a really fun game...
Thanks NES-king, I really appreciate that. It takes countless hours and effort to do stuff like this and I try really hard to give it those extra little touches that make it stand out. I am glad the project is coming to a close...but it makes me want to start a new one in a few months, if I only had something else to release lol.
I got mine yesterday, although I (un)fortunately did not have more than five minutes to dedicate to the game due to class work and such. However, tonight I am all stocked up on the necessities and plan on giving this bad boy a spin...looks great Jason, btw, although I have a feeling that the game itself is not going to be so fun...hehe
All I can say is...wow! This game makes me feel trippy, especially towards the end. I remember in the spaceship falling into a pit, not being able to get out, pausing the game and hitting a few buttons...voila! I appeared in the room with the chick and rescued her, then battled through an indoors space scene before ending up at the final fight, which imo, was one of the coolest scenes in the game...though the camping vehicals (or were they school busses) really made me feel a bit trippy too. Good stuff, but definitely not something I need to play every day. hehe.
