price check on some SNES CIB

Hey guys

Would you say 200 is fair for

Skyblazer
Illusion of Gaia
Secret of evermore

All are mint in box with all inserts

I know soe and illusion of Gaia are around 50, skyblazer I'm not so sure on

Thanks
Joe

  • Yes I would pick that up, however my definition of mint and all inserts may be different than you being a newer guy I'm not sure how long you've been collecting.

But if they truly are mint yes I would pay that .
  • Agreed that it's very much condition (and level of completeness w/inserts) specific. Those two items can vary the final price by quite a large margin. I think $200, if all are truly complete and mint, is definitely a solid price.
  • All this info could easily be found by searching ebay's completed listings.

To answer your question, if I needed those I'd probably pick them up at price.
  • i have to agree along w/ the other members regarding the item(s) ...

it is a good deal if they are as described ...
  • Evermore and Gaia in "mint" condition would be worth ~$200 alone.

Yeah and skyblazer could be $175+, i mean this is a great deal but often mint complete is thrown around easier when you're new on scene, atleast it was for me... Best to post pics if you can. Id say even with 7/10's fully complete you could make money at that price.

100% agreed haha, my standard for mint wasn't quite up to par either when I started. My guess is these are not "mint" or else it would really be a no brainer when looking at ebay completed.
  • Yes well Mint was definitely the wrong choice after asking more questions. Pictures can be deceiving. Illusion and SOE are mint, but skyblazers box he says is in GREAT shape, but has a crease down the top of the box where it opens.

And some minor shelfwear otherwise. Not sure if it is still worth it.

    i am very tempted

I just picked up a MINT Skyblazer for $60, but I know I was lucky. With a giant crease on the box, I would push for $150 if possible.

  • 150 for all 3? I can try but that might be wishful thinking
  • You Canada guys are nuts. Gaia and Evermore for $200? I don't think many people would consider paying near that.
  • I'm pretty sure SoE isn't nearly worth as much as people are making it out to be. Neither is Gaia.

What the fuck is everyone smoking?

This is not even as mint as it gets so yeah, condition is important.
  • Damn the price of Evermore skyrocketed.

i mean that auction is an outlier. Look at the current BINS. there are plenty good ones under 80

I was kinda thinking the same thing. I'm not sure about the value of Skyblzer but the other two I wouldn't want to pay near $150 for mint copies. $50 for Gaia and $70 for Evermore max, and would expect less in a bundle purchase. I bought a really nice SoE for $40 only a couple months ago.

Definitely depends how mint is mint though. My 2 cents.

I bought a gorgeous Gaia for $40 off feebay a few months ago.  I don't have Evermore, but actively searching for it it's pretty obvious you can get a nice one for under $60.  We should stock up on SNES CIBs and profit apparently
