Loops - In Plastic Clamshell

Iv'e had this for as long as I can remember. My uncle mst likely gave it to me who probably bought it from the local discounter that went out of business. It could use a cleaning, but I was just curious if the matching "298" stickers should be removed or not.

Is it of any value, or nothing more than a rental copy?

  • It's most likely from a video store and the "298" stickers on both are so they could match the game to the case and vice versa.  If my memory is correct video stores used to just have the plastic case on the shelf and you'd have to bring it up to the counter and they would then put the cart in the case when you rented it.  Probably to prevent people from stealing in the store.
  • Oh crap, now that you describe it like that; yes. It must be from the RadioShack in Buelah. I remember perfectly that we would grab the clamshell and bring it to the front for the cart. They were really late to the party in renting NES games and were late to quit. I sure hope I didn't rent this and forget to return it! D:
