Please help me to find a game

Hi All,



Could you please help me to find a game which I played in my childhood.



That was a time traveller game with a solder as I remember. There was about 5 stages in 17xx 198xx 2050 etc. I dont really remember.  I played it on genesis but I think it has a NES version of it. .



I am waiting for possible answers. I searched it on internet but I cant find (wikipedia Time traveller games). I will try to provide more information. (The main caracter was a police man or something like this)

    Time Lord on Nes sounds right. It didn't have a genesis version though.

    Thank you. This game is similar but this is not what I searching for. It has a little bit better graphics.

    Well damn, and I was going ask if it had clouds in it.

    Sounds like Time Diver Eon Man but I don't think that had a Genesis version either, and I'd be surprised if you played the NES version more than 5 years ago.

    Lol yeah I remember that as you beat me to the comment on that one so I just had to use it again.

    What kind of game was it? A platformer? Shooter? RPG?

    I'd guess it would be a platformer but I cannot find anything that has both NES release and a Genesis version.
