I need your help friends

So I bought what I thought was a zelda n64nfr demo
Turns out I noticed he used a diffrent picture to sell his game
Not actual picture of game he's selling bummmmer ....

I've gotten lucky before.

My question. He's very slow, I asked for a immediate refund because he used a diffrent picture
He said to cancel my payment on PayPal is that possible ?
Or he's the one that has to issue refund?

He understands not to even ship me the game

  • I'm no paypal expert or anything, but only he can send your money back I believe. If he accepts returns then I would classify this as a return, and he should refund your money.

Did he specify that the game was different from the picture in the listing?

    He did not specify

And he understands he messed up but the dude hasn't refunded yet its only been 1 day
  • Leave him some time. Send him a message as a friendly reminder to refund you and hope for the best. I wouldn't start worrying until 1 or 2 weeks
  • He should be able to issue a refund directly from PayPal, but I agree with Vectrex. Just wait for the seller, and don't worry unless you've not been refunded after a couple of weeks.
  • I had this exact issue, zelda OOT , used a NFR picture. I ended up just asking for a partial refund and kept the game.
  • http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/cancel-transaction-process.html#cancel - To cancel a transaction

Go to My eBay > Sold and locate the item.

In the More actions drop-down menu, select Cancel this order.

Choose a reason for the cancellation and follow the on-screen instructions.

He needs to do this, not you. If he won't then after a certain amount of time you will be able to file a claim on ebay to get your money back.
