Headset dying...again!
What a surprise, my Turtle Beachs are dying.
I'm done with headsets, I'm going to go full audio headphones now. Maybe they won't die as fast and actually last a few years.
I've limited it down to two (unless someone has a better pair?), but idk which is better.

Superlux HD668B: http://www.amazon.com/Superlux-HD668B-Dynamic-Semi-Open-Headphones/dp/B003JOETX8/ref=cm_cd_ql_qh_dp_t
Comfort is a big thing on this. I'm going to be wearing these all day, 12+ hours or so. They need to fit my big head and not put pressure/weight on my ears (California Headphones might be less comfortable, according to reviews). The price is great for both of them, within my price range.
I've heard that semi-open is better for gaming then closed. Is that true? Personally I like closed...I have a kinda noisy fridge and fan going in my room.
If anyone who has these or had them could chime in, that would help me. Otherwise maybe someone can tell me of another headphone that is under $50, comfortable for long gaming sessions/big heads, lightweight and will last for a few years?
Oh and how's Amazon's return policy on opened and slightly worn/used items? I mean I do have to test them out >.>..

Open ear designs sound better, but whoever is in the same room as you will hear everything you hear.
Edit:, I like senheisers & audio technicals personally

These days I use $4.99 earbuds you can get at your local supermarket. 2.0 stereo is all you need when you only have two ears. They're cheap, good enough, and probably come out of the same factory that makes the $250 earphones I bought before.
Edit: Also, save your money for Christmas!
I'll be honest, I used to consider myself an earphone nerd and even spent $250 on a set before I began collecting because they had "7.1 virtual surround" and "noise cancelling technology" blah blah blah...

You should've known better.
And there is a HUGE difference between $5 $50 & $250 headphones & IEMs.
Just because you as an individual don't hear the difference doesn't mean that their isn't.

I have Bose, they have such a great sound and bass, a great American import.
They're "good enough", and I'm not enough of an audiophile to care.
No doubt there *is* a big difference between them. Just not a $245 difference.

You need to separate your opinion from fact. They aren't "good enough" most times.
There are those who can hear the difference between quality headphones and bargin bin junk. There are also those who can hear the difference between lossy and lossless audio.
I would personally never recommend $200+ headphones to anyone, except for "the beats generation". I try to tell them that even $50 headphones perform better then Beats.
Similarly I'd never recommend sub $50 headphones. Too much distortion.

Bose has a bias just like Beats do in the design & manufacture of their products.
Phleo out.
Man, everything just gets so super critical here recently. GirlGames is asking for opinions, I shared mine.
Phleo out.
If you look at the type of headphones she linked to you could easily realize that $5 headphones are not an appropriate suggestion.
If you knew if OP's issues with their current headset you'd understand why your opinion is not appropriate.
Not trying to hate on ya'

Ok 1 for superlux then. Is it comfortable to wear for 12+ hours? Can it fit large heads? Does it put weight or pressure on ears? Is it light weight?
Audiotechs seem to be to much out of my price range...I hear their nice and even my BF swares by them but I couldn't afford them as of right now.
