Latest Project - Restore this Sega Kiosk
One of my new gaming projects. I picked this up with the help of a friend from Nintendoage. (Sam - Sjp5412) It was literally 1 mile from his house.
Sadly it did not have the original base, just whatever this black display base was.
The Goal, make it look like this.
The DS-16 that came with the new one, is missing the dummy cart & Ribbon Cable. So if anyone knows how to make one, or has a non-working DS-16 that has those two items and you want to sell them, please let me know.
Other issues, yellowing, missing lexan type system cover, controller harness, etc.
I have a special tech helping me out on this one..... I think he padded his resume to get the job....

As for the missing cable it it looks like a floppy drive ribbon cable might work for that connection or a moded one at least.
