Topic Rules
This new topic, The Arena, is where you can post challenges for specific games. Each thread must encompass a single game where the OP (original poster) is the keeper of the scores and officiator of the challenge. All game challenges must be played on a *real* NES console (no emulators for these challenges, sorry) and all scores must be proven via a photo with your name in the pic (ie, write your name on a sheet of paper, attach it to the TV and then take your pic).
The officiator will decide whether or not the pics must have the cords, console and TV all in the pic (proof of no Game Genie being used).
The officiator will also decide whether or not known controller codes or in-game cheats are allowed.
Lastly, the officiator will decide upon any rules not mentioned above.
Let's keep this honorable guys and gals -- that's the fun of it. In other words, please do not cheat (unless it's allowed for the specific challenge, decided by the officiator).

I'd like to run a SMB speed run contest, but there's really no way you can prove how fast you beat the game, short of providing a video, which isn't something all users can provide. I guess, in that case, since I would be the officiator, I would not require a video for proof unless there is any suspicion of cheating.
Also - perhaps some officiators can give away prizes if they would like.

Btw, perhaps this topic should be a sticky to keep it on top for others to read in the arena section
