R.O.B
in Help Wanted!
so I bought a ROB from a guy for a good deal. The seller said he wasn't sure if it worked or not; this didn't matter to me anyway as I really only wanted it for decorative reasons. Well anyway, today I am cleaning it, pop in some new batteries, and it's shoulder's raise. So now I want to see if there is a way I can tell if the thing is fully operational, only I don't own Stack Up or Gyromite. Are there any suggestions someone could give me to test this thing. Of course I don't own any of the accessories that go along with it, just curious.

2. When you turn it on, it must turn left, then turn right, not only one direction (forgot if it's left or right first).
3. Reaction to the screen can only be tested with the games.

1. Make sure the middle part (where the arms are attached) is not loose (doesn't stay down by gravity).

Thanks!
1) Check
2) Fail
Thanks for the help!

Dunno if I was so clear, this is a video that demonstrates what ROB should do when it's turned on

Stack-Up / Gyromite on a NES emulator displayed on a CRT will also trigger R.O.B.

Does your R.O.B fail to move up and down or left and right. With my experience with R.O.B (its been awhile) the glue on a gear doesn't won't stick and needs some more glue provide you assemble everything back again.

It won't move left and right, goes up and down fine.
just buy a copy of gyromite. its cheap i think.

I think there is another piece on the gear that needs to be reglued as well. Unscrew the bottom of the R.O.B to see.
