Flintstones:Bedlam in Bedrock???

I recently found a old issue of Game Players magazine from Febuary 1992,and it had a feature guide on a game called Flintstones:Bedlam in Bedrock. After looking at the pictures closer it looks similar to Flintstones surprise at dino peak.Does anyone know anything about this?

  • Considering this was a year before it was released as Dino Peak, I'm assuming this was the working title. A demo or proto may exist with this nomenclature but most likely, this was just pre-marketing (the last stage of product development) and then the gurus at Taito spiced it up with the action word Surprise, and put it in the dative case to give it more "motion."

Yeah name changes were not uncommon. I just found out the working title for Ikari Warriors was "delta team". Obviously an improvement.
  • LOL, especially if you are from our part of the world and know where Delta is... LOL.

Why didnt they name it 'Chuck Norris and his amazing spin kick warrior fighter with greneades and a machine gun'
  • Chuck Norris originally appeared in the "Street Fighter II" video game, but was removed by Beta Testers because every button caused him to do a roundhouse kick. When asked bout this "glitch," Norris replied, "That's no glitch."
  • You know who should have gotten his own wrestling game...

Virgil, the Million Dollar man's body guard.

I think you mean "Chuck Norris jokes are so passe." Although your misuse of the term faux pas was interestingly ironic.
