You must have a PAL console, Bea. I've always wanted to play Beauty & the Beast. I even have the cart, but it's one that doesn't work on NTSC consoles.
Makes sense. I've considered doing that, so I can actually play my Beauty, Elite, and Asterix carts. But I don't think I've got any TVs that'll support PAL signal. It's supposed to be fairly common now, but I've got old CRTs.
So not the best ending, but second best, took me about an hour and a half in game play, since I died once. Killed both sub-bosses so wasn't a speed run. This is also only the second time I've beat the game, the last one was over 25 years ago, so I was a bit rusty. And I still completly sucked ass in mother brains room, and died (Hate slowdown). I was going to play from scratch since it would take forever to recharge my life, but then I remembered metroids give a lot of life when you kill them, so this morning I hit start on the password screen I left up all night, and farmed metroids till I was full, then had a heck of a shock: I never knew the zebetites stayed dead after you killed them. I thought if I left the room they would respawn. Also learned while playing if you freeze the rinkas they won't make new ones. Wish I'd known these 25+ years ago...
Beating Hudson Hawk on Christmas wasn't enough for me, so I've actually started speed running it, ha. Here is my current PB from the other night, terrible run towards the end, but I managed 9:53
The Three Stooges is done. Just saving the orphanage wasn't good enough for me, so I earned enough to make repairs as well.
But did you get to marry their three beautiful daughters?

Glad I got one more PAL in before Bea sweeps them all!
Mahjong has your name written all over it! I'm still not sure what counts as beating it.
You can also do Dropzone, since that one looks to be really hard (you need 1 million points, and there's a video of someone on Youtube getting half of that in about an hour of playing).
It's the one simply titled Mahjong, from 1983. I think you can just use the Japanese rom. Anyway, I'm not sure if winning one game is enough since one review says you can win 3 games to be the "overall winner." I don't know if that's true, and I don't know enough about the rules to find out. But whoever plays it should probably do that just to be safe. Anyway, there's 3 difficulties, so if you're going to do it, play on easy.

Yesterday I got to the last level of Rodland and also the last level of Over Horizon, unfortunately couldn't beat them though.

Sure, have Dain send me his copy! (I think he has one?)
If I get the ROM I'm not sure which one is even correct - there are 10,000 Mah Jong games out there.
Anyways Captain Planet is done, he's not a hero and his game takes pollution well above zero. Can't believe I liked that one as a kid
