I can't even tell you how disappointed this makes me. I liked Marioshroomed's youtube videos and felt bad for him when he spent 4K on that crushed box lot. He seemed like a good guy. But now...This is just deceptive and wrong. Seeing that he pulled the same kind of crap on the NWC repro lets me know this is intentional, and I feel like I misjudged the guy. People are free to do what they want with the stuff they buy, and other people are free to either research (or apparently not) what they're bidding on, but purposely trying to trick people into grossly overspending on stuff that's still available from the source for a lot less is a dick move, in my opinion.
Hmmmmm.....anyone notice a couple things? that No. 1:the bids have disappeared and marioshroomed's price is WAY back down to $45...No.2:the other person who has this game up has a feedback of 86....if you notice, the person with a majority of the bids on marioshroomed's item has a feedback of 86.....small world, eh?
That 2nd auction has a bigger problem, it looks to be the same carpet background. Could even be in the same position on the carpet given the color variations along the left side and bottom left corner. Likely not one user stealing another ones picts because of the (camera generated?) date code. Definitely need to investigate that 2nd seller...
The $1k+ reserve shows full intent to screw someone instead of just letting the auction run and hoping for a BIN from someone who didn't research.
At least for the $950 BIN you get free priority shipping instead of first class!

Really, I know it's easy to get all outraged about stuff like this, and I know that anyone can decide that they want to get as much as they can for something and make an auction like this. What bugs me about this is that it's not just some random dude who bought a game and decided he wanted to try and turn a profit, it's a member here who knows better and knows that they're trying to take advantage of people. For what it's worth, I think NA members are educated about stuff like this and should be held to a higher standard (Now I'm looking forward to that sentence coming back and biting me in the ass for a long time . That second auction...I'll just shut up about it. It looks like they had quite the plan, though ("Only one other auction like this on eBay!")
But, whatever. And whatever the result of this is, my favorite come-back that I've seen in situations like this is when the person who makes these (bunnyboy, in this case and in damn near all cases) throws some up on eBay at his price and kills the scammers auction. Always good for a laugh.

the reason the bids on the first one is gone and its back to 46 is because i retracted all my bids hahaha.. last night i was having fun and the 86 feedback guy was also.. we both kept bidding back and forth 80 times till it was at 999.99.... then i retracted, after it hit 999.99 is when the other one came up for 950 BIN.... the 86 feedback guy has to be a member of the site im positive because of our bidding last night.
i emailed the seller of the first one and said, "nevermind i dont want it some kind person emailed me and said i can buy the same game for 60+ shipping from retro zone" and i told the seller i have been wanting that game forever ever since NES came out in 1965 and ive been dreaming of the game for 40+ years... lmfao
