Yup. My Target had like 17 of them post holidays, but I aquired mine from another NA member prior to Christmas. The uncertainty factor got me; I had I not bought one early, they would have quickly become unobtanium like Pit and Falcon. I didn't want a repeat of Marth/Villager/WFT...
So through some odd circumstances I ended up with duplicates of Zelda, Diddy Kong and little Mac.
At the time I was told Diddy was hard to get? now its not the case?
Anyway I'm about to return the Zelda and Diddy unless is Diddy worth keeping for trade or? ( is he rare some place easy to get other place? Awhile ago he was like super hard to find or did I just misread it Wasn't paying attention)
Not sure about MAC I need money but the last thing I wanna do is oversell something to someone so I think I'l just keep it for a trade for a exclusive ( meta knight, lucario, rosalina)

I just got a shipping confirmation from Game. Apparently my Rosalina will be on her way soon. Still waiting to hear from Play Asia as well. If the postal service is speedy enough, I just might have my hands on her before her official North American February release.

I should have an extra Rosalina for trade bait (one PAL and one Jap). I'm assuming Bowser will be easy to find, but I may be willing to trade her for Toon Link or hold onto her for a future "rare" Amiibo such as Pacman or the Duck Hunt Duo or something, if Rosalina prooves hard to find.

They canceled that. I was like what the fuck TRU. So I was woken up by a text saying preorders were back up. I ordered 2 because seriously fuck them.
Then I was told the online ones were being canceled again so I went to the store. Picked up 2 preorder cards.
I then ordered one from Play Asia (the only one I will keep and open since I paid $30 for that shit).
Time passes then TRU is all hey, we fucked up here use this code and order your canceled order again. So I did x2.
So there. 6 NA Lucarios for no other reason than they screwed up on my 1 and if they cancel all 6 for whatever fucking reason, I still have the one coming from Japan. I got 1 of everything else from wave 3 except for Rosalina because Target preorders always went live when I was sleeping. I'm not a reseller. As it is 2 of the amiibos will be whatever the TRU in store price is ($13.99?), 2 were $24 each (cuz shipping in the first online order was like $7.95!!!), 1 for $30 (japanese one) and then the super late code ones at $10.99 each (with free shipping I think). I will use one to trade for Rosalina from any country (I open my stuff anyways, try keeping a princess sealed around a 4 year old girl) and the rest will either be returned to TRU or people can just buy them at cost from me if I even actually get all of them. I don't really have to go pick up the 2 in person but there were definitely 4 NA ones ordered online lol...

Yeah I don't usually over-order. I was pretty angry. I also expected Best Buy to cancel my preorder of Meta Knight so we'll see. I hope they don't though. -_- Neither of those companies seem to be sitting well with people right now.
That kind of happened with my Lucarios too. I had one preordered, then it got cancelled, then I went into the store and preordered 2 JUST to be sure, then I got the email to preorder online again so i did a third there. I'll either trade off the extras and I already offered one to someone else here at cost.
And I realize it's totally stupid, but since I'm saving all my cardbacks, I kind of want a US one so it matches the others. If anyone is willing to cut their bubble from the cardiac and contribute/sell me the back, that would be awesome too! Then I'd have no problem getting a EU or JP one.
