  • ^^ i dont know man, the bidder on the first one has the same feedback # as the second seller..

  • Thunderbird_302 was most likely feeling out what he should price his at.
  • ^^ by finding out the reserve???
  • Yup...thunderbird_302's BIN falls just under marioshroomed's reserve. In his mind $900 was competitive enough against $1000 and still enough to make a killing.
  • ^^ but it was never bid up to the reserve!!! it went to $999.99 and thats how i know its the same seller because he didnt want to hit his own reserve!
  • So, I got a message from Shroom on here and on eBay. He's not autistic, he's just a douche, that's all.

hahahah, good, so whatever mod deleted my post before about this fucker being retarded... please put it back!!!

i actually felt bad when ross said shroom was autistic and was glad someone deleted my post, but now... yeaaaaaa, someone needs to put that post back up!

  • i'm waiting for his response...

"HaHa I got you guys Roflcopterz, it was only a jokes me no seal it for 1000 dollers"
  • a joke? come on that's BS, cuz he just knew someone would post it here.
  • yeah he is avoiding this topic allthough we all know he has seen it....
  • Seems like he'd want to explain himself, given that he's read every post in this thread.
  • Its a joke and yet the auction is still up unchanged... Hope hes ready for a ban if he lets it sell like that.

While I agree with a lot of the stuff said in this thread, I don't agree with this statement.  A ban for exploiting the dumb public?  While it's immoral and unethical, it is not a Terms of Service (bannable) violation.  If this were the case, then anyone who ever sold a repro on eBay at a markup should be banned, that guy who tried to seller Happy Camper at $250 should be banned, etc.
  • I just mean a ban from buying items from my website, not from eBay or here. I don't need to help him deceive people.

jone, please tell me the Terms of Service for this site.
  • The only reason I ever put that game on there is because I saw it being worth more than $60. In the past I've tried putting a few games on (some I bought for $45 others for $25) and just seeing if I could make a hundred bucks. The same is for both the NWC repro and the Pirate Booty. I was not trying to piss anybody off. Although it seems to have worked rather well. And I most certainly don't want to be banned from nintendoage. I've made too many friends here.

Oh and yes it is true I took pictures off retrousb and just used it for ebay, since I didn't already have the game. But some games I've done in the past are games I have owned. I promise to fix everything. And I apologize to you guys. Sorry.

Some? I don't understand how you can even sell something that you don't even have/own?
  • MarioShroomed....

Your auction description: "The label of this game says Pirate Booty.  But what I found inside was all 3 Panesian games.  I have no idea what this is worth.  Found it at the flea market a short while ago."

    Your explanation?

EDIT: How can you make relationships here at NA, when you are clearing attempting to deceive people?
  • Shroomer... I don't necessarily think what your did was wrong, as far as selling games on ebay and trying to flip an easy profit. But, the being deceitful is the bad. If someone bids up your auction because of lack of knowledge that's one thing, but trying to flat out screw someone is wrong bro.

    EXACTLY! Plus the $1000 reserve
  • Selling for profit - no problem

Telling lies and deceiving people to do it - very bad

Auction still up - what are you thinking?

Wonder if its a coincidence that the thunderbird_302 has a far lowered BIN price too...
  • ^^ yeah no shit... i dont buy a word of that so called appology.. YOU DONT EVEN HAVE THE F****N GAME YOU ARE TRYING TO SELL... then on top of that you list another one under a different id with a lower buy it now, to purposely decieve people into thinking the second auction is a steal of a price..

How could you make a hundred bucks with a reserve set at $1,000?  See, the key to a good apology is to tell the truth, or at least a convincing lie.

It doesn't bother me much since I'm probably one of the only members that doesn't buy games on ebay, but I'm sure as hell not going to deal with you in any capacity.  Shady crap.

  • I'm still reeling about the fact that YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE THE GAME!
  • I'd give you $800 for it if you have it in hand.
  • LOL you don't even have the game?! Wow...that is just too funny. You are clearly trying to deceive people to make a MASSIVE profit.

Simply saying "I'm sorry" isn't going to make people forget.
