  • I'm assuming that you were one of the people that bought 2 out of 4 of the factory sealed copies that popped up on ebay earlier this week? I almost bought the last 2 copies myself, but when that many sealed copies of a game pop up at one time, I have to question its rarity. As well as whether my wallet could handle it. Lol
  • Assuming the same as you deathmore. Yeah, I wonder about the rarity too. After all, you dont want to overspend on a game that might have 5000 copies just sitting in a box somewhere
  • While I agree that four copies of a game once measured in a number of known sealed copies of less then 5, is out of the ordinary, how is this any different then any other occasion?

Playing the "what if game": What if a case of Myriad 6in1 was stuck in an storage unit all these years? What if a pallet of mountain bike/speed racer was sitting in the recesses of the warehouse lifefitness used to use before switching locations? What if a case of Flinstones 2 was delivered to a toy stores warehouse the day they found out they were closing their doors and the delivery driver discovered that he could take them home unnoticed while the employees were on their way out? Actually lets just say: What if a case of 5000 copies of (insert game title here) was just sitting some place waiting to be discovered..

Point is this is not what happened. The seller was a Christian book store that was sitting on 4 NIV Bibles and 4 KJ Bibles for many years and decided to clear house. Rarity is a relative term and when the total number of known sealed copies is still in the single digits, I consider the game to still be quite rare.
  • To be fair, I still consider this to be quite a rare game. I just never considered it "the rarest GB game of all" like some people did. Look at any Wisdom Tree game on any platform, or anything unlicensed for that matter, and it is much more likely to be found sealed than a truely rare licensed game. Just simple odds... the games that sucked that were not officially licensed were likely to have sold poorly and been left sealed.

Having said that, still a top 10 GB rarity these days, just not sure if it was in the top 1, 2 or 3 like some people thought. I'm sure you'll do well on the auction.
