Value Check: loose Panesian games

What are the 3 Panesian titles worth loose?

Also, somebody who has a complete copy of one of them, can you please post a picture of the inside of the box without the cartridge inside of it?

  • I would say the going rate for a loose Panesian would be from $500-$600 for a cart only depending on the shape its in and what title it is.CIB you are looking at $800+.The loose carts seem to fetch a premium for some reason becuase I think the box and instruction sheet are worth way more than $200.Once again thats just my .02
  • I would say around 600 for cart only and around 900-1000 for a CIB one seems to be the going great. So gald I go these years ago for 325, 350, and 425 all CIB.

  • Ok, thanks, I thought they were worth around 5-6 hundred but wasn't sure. Can anybody post a picture of the inside of the case without the cartridge inside? I need to see what the inside looks like.
  • I am scanning it now Nick, will post it in a sec.

Where do you get the numbers for the CIB ones? Didn't the last BBB and PBP sell for around 750$?
  • Thank you very much Jason.

  • Several of them have been close to 1k Limbo. I do think the last one sold for a little cheaper though. But the market is trending on the high side this week for sure.

  • They generally go for about $625 complete. We will see if the high prices stay. I do not think they will. The panesians are always changing prices. Loose, $500 is about right.

BBB didn't have the instructions, but managed $749 shipped. PBP, I'm not aware of a recent auction for it... HS got right around $750 CIB recently...

I'd say on the order of $475-$550 loose, $750-$900 CIB.
  • Also, when I said they usually go for $625, I meant before the recent string of them for the past 2 months or so. Prior to that, they were selling for about $625 complete for at least a year. It is possible they will stay high, but I don't know. They seem to be fairly common to be so valuable.
  • I have to agree with raregamergirl here. about $450-500 loose and about $600-$750 complete. Pansians are not 1k games. (yet lol)
  • I tried to buy Justabums Hot Slots for $500 cart only and he was having none of it.
  • Yea 1K i highlly doubt, but yet im still speechless on this zelda cart so who knows. lol

Maybe NGD has like 10 accounts and hes slowly bidding up all the rares to make a huge price increase in the market so he can then later sell everything and retire from unemployment. hmmmmm sounds like a plan lol............

  • i bought justabums 600 shipped.
  • Well, I'd put cart only at $600. When I had my hot slots listed on ebay I had at least 7 different offers for $500 in a very short period of time which inclines me to believe that its worth more than that.

The last two CIB's both did right around $750.

I'm going to toss a couple thoughts on to why the difference between cart and cib is low.

    1) first of all it is still $150-$200 more for a cib. Even though we are talking bigger figures $200 is still a lot of money to most people.

    2) when any item pushes a significant $$$ threshold it is hard for people to grasp the new price bracket thus stiffleing the price for a while. For example, cart onlys have already broke $500 so if someone wants one bad enough paying $600-$650 still seams in the realm of what the game is worth. But, crossing over the $900 mark puts you in the $1000 price bracket and as silly as it sounds, its a whole new concept for most people and to be the first or one of the first to pay that much for one which makes people doubt their purchase, and inturn, their thinking backs up to the $800 range.

    3) the boxes are oddly shaped and don't fit in with the rest of your collection thus making them less desireable.

    4) I think collectors always figured if they were going to spend $1000 on anything it was going to be stadium events. They would settle for cart only panesian games because if that one big big purchase was going to be made it was going to be for stadium events. Now that stadium events is no longer a $1000 game. Things may change.

    5) unlicensed games. They have never held the lure over collectors as the licensed ones. Look at the color dream games. Cart only challenge of the dragon is worth $100 CIB $150. king neptune carts can pull $90-$100 yet the last CIB only brought $120 or so. Even in AVE. Cart only solitare is worth $30 yet a boxed one just brought $26. I guess my point here is that there are more CIB licensed only collectors yet more cart only collectors engulf the unlicensed games.

    6) people buy them for the 8 bit porn....not the box silly

  • I paid $550 for my CIB Bubble Bath Babes and Peek A Boo Poker a little over a year ago. Things have changed, though image
  • I spent 1700.00 getting my 3 complete
  • I can't even remember what I paid for my CIB Bubble Bath Babes. I got my Hot Slots box/instruction sheet for like $250 and Carts for Both Hot Slots and Peek-A-Boo from Bronty. Anyone out there have a Peek-A-Boo Poker box or instruction sheet for trade sale? Or even a CIB one for Sale? Haven't seen that box for sale in awhile now.
  • #6 for me Justabum, nothing beats 8 bit titties in the morningimage
