Magical Chase CIB Mint Auction on Ebay
I know this is not Nintendo related, but I know there are lots of you on here that collect for TG-16. Just wanted to post a link to a minty Magical Chase that was listed recently. I bought a game from him, when I received a message asking if I knew anything about Magical Chase. He asked if it was really worth $25k that someone was asking on ebay since he had one that was in much nicer condition. I gave him my phone number and he called. He told me how he basically got it new from a friend, along with many other games. He said he only played it once and there was too much going on during the game so he put it back in the sleeve and then in the box, which was stored away until recently. Then I explained to him the prices it has sold for recently and some advice on how I would list it on ebay. He offered it to me, but I unfortunately have nowhere near the funds at the moment to have bought it. Anyways, just wanted to share with you guys.

There's a few guys like that who for some reason had insight for this game.
Really cool grail title in general though. A lot better than almost all of the Nintendo platform grails.

That is nothing. Back in the old days there was a guy who bought these up like they were candy. People would complain about him, the price the game was selling for. They would say that it wasnt really that rare and was way over priced and then the price would jump.

I'd flip that game immediately even of I was a TG16 guy. But wow... hundreds of dollars for a game back in 2003!? That's insane... Stadium Events wasn't even that price back then...I think people were speculating and entertaining the *idea* of a $1k Stadium Events CIB.
SE has a mild case of hoarding, but the most I've ever heard of is 5 copies (1 CIB, 1 CI, 3 Cart), followed by 3.
I can never consider Magical Chase a safe game to own if you're worried about the value

It also makes me wish I got into retro game collecting earlier than I did, sheesh.
