Ocarina of Time Film Reel?

Does anybody have any info on this?



I asked the seller about it - he didn't have much to say. Said the film reel was bought by his friend for ten times more than he is selling it for (which is a red flag for me) and that the reel is from the trailer. I also found no information about the company that authenticated it.

    Probably from a commercial reel for OOT shown in cinemas.

    It's single reels from the OoT commercial. I used to have the full reel, but I sold it years ago. My sister used to work in a movie theatre at the time and she had snagged it for me after they were done with it.

    Yeah, I recognized the reels from the original 1998 commercial - I just wasn't sure about authenticity. The company was around in '98 so it would be possible. 



    I didn't know the trailer was played in movie theaters. Wouldn't that mean that there were very many reels in existence, as each theater that played the trailer would have one?

    Probably, but these were usually disposed of when they were no longer used. I don't think there were too many people in the position to get them out of the theatre were thinking 'Oh man, in like 10 years I can probably get $30 for this from a video game collector!' I had a Star Wars one as well, and it took 4 or 5 months just to sell it for $15 shipped if I remember correctly.
