Mario Club High Achiever Award & NMI Award
Here is the auction in question: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Stupid-Rare-Nintendo-Mario-Achiever-Award-With-Diamond-Employee-Owned-Prize-/371246848486?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item56700959e6
Added another rare pin for $1650. This one I found rather recent info on though: https://lrz8z36.wordpress.com/ />
Also adding this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Star-Wars-Nintendo-Employee-Nmi-Award-Stupid-Rare-/400856754632?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5d54eca9c8
Was interested to know the value of the pins that a member on ebay listed. Now after finding some recent links I have to scratch my head. Not sure where these numbers were pulled from?
The second rare pin added for $1650. This one I found rather recent info on though: https://lrz8z36.wordpress.com

What's your take on the value for the pins both the awards series and employee yearly pins 1-7?
It's the coveted mario mile high club pin for bopping the princess in the top floor of Nintendo HQ.
EDIT:Cool pin set BTW!

What's the size/value of the diamond? Is that gold plated? I'd find stuff like that out from a jeweler first. There's no way I'd consider buying anything like that without knowing the raw value and only then would I bid based on the subject matter.

Don't believe the item is gold but could very well be EGP. I don't have my diamond tester any longer. It does look to be a diamond though. The pin is rare and very few were given to employees. $2500 is a big chunk of change though....

The diamond itself is just a small chip, a few dollars at most.
If they are real each stone is a little better then just a chip. They have a certain cut to them but doesn't add much value either way. Would really love to see the true value on ths. The value is definitely not in the pins scrap value...lol
