I saw this auction hit the roof today and was a bit surprised.  A copy of EGM's first issue went for $106 and change today.  I had no idea these were that collectible.

    They are I paid $75 for a mint one a couple years ago.



    For the first issue its important to have the cards, poster and tip book still inside.

    It's funny I just earlier was reading through an earlier 90's Gamepro and was surprised at how many holes I have in my EGM and Gamepro collections. I figured the first issue would be expensive but ouch ...

    Nice to see it hit 3 figures. Great magazine but VGD is right. You want to get it complete complete as it's got some good inserts

    So THATS where my magmax poster is from! I got it from a nintendo dealer and never knew where it came from! Awesome stuff!
