Today I received Harvest Moon 64. What do I need to do to beat it?
And congrats Jaz! Good luck on Spider-Man!
Do you know if there is a way to obtain the credits screen ? If no, I really don't know how to finish this game : I never played it. Maybe someone on this thread knows about it ?
I searched on the previous thread and it seems people considered the game beaten when you finished the first year.

Alright ! Just finish the first year in that case and we'll consider the game beaten.

Today I began to play it and have just finished the first spring. The game seems to be a bit boring but let's see.
I still have to go back and finish Banjo-Kazooie but I'm not feeling like it on this weekend.
Well, if in the other threads it was OK to do just one year (4 seasons), it is still alright to do it this way. If you really like the game, you can make it to the 3rd spring, but do what you want for this one. You have the two choices.
Well, today I completed the first year on Harvest Moon. Now I'm in the second spring.
To tell the truth, I was expecting a lot more from this game. I know that there is more things to do than just plant and harvest but I just didn't get in the "spirit" of the game. The majority of the time I was just watering and harvesting. Sometimes there were a few events that the villagers would invite me to attend. I really liked the seasons, specially Winter but in this one I wanted the village and the farm to have somme Christmas lights, it would be a nice touch.
If this is enough to consider this game beaten then I won't play it more for now. I prefer to go back and play Banjo-Kazooie.

It's alright this way. You get 2 points for this one !
Today I came back to Beetle Adventure Racing and I beat the second championship. Later today I will try to beat the third championship.
I'm not playing N64 these days. I'm actually playing a game named "Decap Attack" on Sega Genesis. I will finish Space Station : Silicon Valley someday before this summer, and I will start MegaMan 64 later this month. It's not that I don't play Nintendo 64 anymore, it is just the fact that I play new games that I bought recently. And like you said before, it is like other completion threads, at the beginning, everybody is excited, but after 2-3 months, it becomes a very slow processing doing all of these games. This summer, I will play N64 only for this thread, but for now, I play the games I want, whatever the console is.
Basically same here for me. Kinda swamped with university, so games I play are ones I want for a nice relaxer. Mostly some 3DS/Wii U newer titles. This Summer after my extra course in Intersession & moving, I am hoping to hop back on the 64 train.
I actually play the Nintendo 64 every week with my cousins. But it's always Super Smash Bros., a game that's already been beaten. We've kept the tradition going since 2012, I suppose, and we've logged tens of thousands of KOs with the characters. Other than that, I'm not working on anything new for the N64.
In All-Star Tennis '99, I won a 4-player tournament on Medium difficulty. Since I discovered last year that it gives the exact same ending whether you play World Tour or Tournament mode -- and the game's other mode, Bomb Tennis, gives no ending -- I think this one's done.
(No picture -- just as I decided to go for my camera, the credits finished up.)

Welcome to the thread ! I'm always happy to see sports games beaten. I added your points.
For some reason I thought you could only enter 2 shipping crates, sure enough, the 3rd one had a door going into it. Spent over an hour trying to find 4 god damn notes. Even went into the anchor room and the engine room again. My time on RBB is really bad, I had a bit of time before I crashed last night so I just went in and explored the map and got a few jiggy's. Every other map is 1:40 or less.
100% everything in the game up to this point, should be done tonight. I got a copy of Tooie in the mail, that will be the next game I finish. Then maybe Conker's after that if no one has beaten it.
Alright Banjo Kazooie is complete! Just finished Grunty, had 2 health left, those damn fireballs are like homing missiles. Overall an amazing game, possibly my new favourite on the system. Best level for me was Rusty Bucket Bay, even though everyone hates the engine room, I didn't think it was that bad. Least favourite level was Click Clock Wood, having to do the same area basically 4 times sucks, and I hate those god damn snowmen. Not sure if I need to post pics but I will anyway.

I remember beating Grunty, and 100% completing this game years ago, when I was like 10 or 11. It is my favorite game on the system with Mystical Ninja : Starring Goemon. I have the exact, same thoughts about the engine room and Click Clock Wood. Thanks for beating this one and welcome to the thread ! Hope you can help us this year ! 56games beaten is pretty good for the moment. I still have hope for this happening, since I want to play a lot of N64 this summer.

Thanks, good to know my N64 skills are on par with an 11 year old I had an N64 when these games came out, but the late 90's to early 00's were sort of the dark ages for gaming for me, I just wasn't that interested. I think BK goes under the radar a bit, everyone will say OoT or SM64 are the best on the system, but BK is right up there with them. The control is great (well maybe not so much with flying and swimming), the worlds are fun, music is top notch, really the first game in awhile I enjoyed from start to finish. To put 20 hours into a game in just 6 days shows how into the game I was. Only rage moments I had were trying to beat Grunty before getting upgrades. It was about 1am this morning and thought i'd waltz in with no upgrades and beat her. I think I had like 7 red feathers going in too, lesson learned.
I have a copy of Tooie coming in the mail, that'll be my next N64 task to beat.

Yeah, I would say that BK goes under the radar too. I agree with you about how great this game is. The sequel is even more complete, with more things to do, and also, great bosses. The music is still genius, and the storyline is more advanced. They took a lot of great ideas from Donkey Kong 64 for Banjo-Tooie. Though the game is technically better, I would say I have a lot of great memories with the first one. In my list, Banjo-Kazooie is subjectively my favorite. But, maybe you'll prefer the second one since they are two new games for you !
What constitutes completion for a racing game like F-Zero X? I've completed every cup on every difficulty in F-Zero X a few weeks ago.
Completing every cup on every difficulty is what you need to do for beating this game. Did you complete the "X Cup" ? If yes, then this game is officially finished.

Yep I did do X-Cup too. Sorry about the lack of pics. I wasn't playing with intention of completing the game for this thread, I just played it for fun and wanted to get the credit for beating it here.

Thanks! I'm kind of hopping between SNES and N64 at the moment and I'll be tackling Space Station Silicon Valley in a few days. One of my favorites! I'll try to remember to take a pic.
I've been playing Mario Party since it came out. I'd still consider it the best if it weren't for those effing stick rotater games.
I can't believe a game like Star Soldier flew under my radar for so long. It's the only shmup on the N64, but damn, is it awesome. I'll definitely be playing more of it.
In the N64 Mario Party games, I only played the third episode, which I like a lot. Never had the occasion of buying the two first games complete with their boxes and inserts, that's why. I only play games that I have in my collection, I don't use emulators. Anyway, one more game beaten !
All three of them are fun. I like Mario Party 2 the best now because I think it has the best mini-game set and a better item system. It doesn't have as many boards as the others, so it might get boring faster.
