    Marilyn Manson HolyWood.

very nice! Don't care for the record as a whole, but I think it's the last album actually worth a listen. Valentine's day is a great tune.

    My favorite Manson album.
  • I found this piece of framed art a while back, and every time I see it, it still cracks me up. I thhink it is hilarious.

I call it Kittyanna Jones. I think I paid $4 for it, glass frame and all.
  • LMAO GET THE FUCK OUT!!! That must be kept and preserved. Oh my dogs!
  • A fucking mazing...
  • Oh man OxerO, I am cracking up. Seeing that is the high point of my day!

Right? You should have seen the way my daughter looked at me when I was laughing my ass off in the thrift store when I found that.

    ZOMG and its on SALE!

Make sure you grab an epic frame to go with it: http://amzn.com/B00HQ9EM84
  • Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System, $7.62. Tested it out and it works great, very cool little toy!

  • A few weeks ago I found a Dal Negro checker/backgammon poker set. (For those of you not familiar with Dal Negro it is a high end game company in Italy.)

It has a leather board/case with heavy brass checkers/backgammon chips, dice cups, oversize poker dice, three decks of cards (two still sealed), oversize regular dice and doubling cube and a whole slew of different shaped poker chips. The only thing that seems to be missing is one die of four for the backgammon game. (No instructions - but that is not a big deal. )

It originally was priced at $14.95 but was half off. Since it was half off it had been there at least a week - luckily it was in the display shelf area and stuck behind a bunch of other stuff so it was barely visible and it wasn't readily apparent that the outside of the case was a checkerboard since it is basically black on the outside.

That is pretty amazing, I don't even like cats but i'd hang that picture on my wall.

  • My wife had been looking for dining tables for a while and found this old 12 chair diner table by John Widdicomb co. for sale and were asking a little over $1000 USD for the whole set but they were open for offers, these were the ad pictures:

After some investigating it seemed like we had a nice deal in hands, I offered a little over $800 USD (in local currency) and he accepted, the guy even offered to bring it to our house! I'll put some pictures later, condition is not that bad but the table has some scuffs and chairs need some deep cleaning.

I'm proud of my wife, who now enjoys hunting good deals
  • Found this awesome nice quality clock at Goodwill for $5, sweet!

  • Is that actual stonework or a veneer? Either way looks nice.
  • This is the same clock btw:

"Made with textured ceramic rock tiles"

It's nice and heavy. Thought about keeping it but it doesn't really match my decor, lol
  • Found this a year ago at Value Village for $5.99.  I think this may of been used for artists that worked on the original Casper movie.

  • Don't really know if it's gaming related but I just found a working 80's Macintosh computer by the curb. It works perfectly!
  • Found this Mad Max styled board game for $2.

  • Just picked up a first gen iPod Nano for $15. I know what you're probably thinking; "Why would anyone want a 10 year old iPod?" Well, a couple of years ago Apple issued a recall for all first gen Nanos because of battery issues. And apparently it's still active. They will replace it with a brand new, current gen Nano, free of charge! Because of this, first gen Nanos can fetch upwards of $80 on eBay (go ahead, check, I know you want to). But I'm actually gonna opt for the new Nano. I think my wife would actually like it as a dedicated workout iPod. If you ever come across a first gen iPod Nano for cheap, snatch it up! Here's the link to the replacement program in case you need it.

Updates: Here it is!  The entire process took less than a Week.  All shipping was done overnight, free of charge.  I have to say, I am pretty impressed with Apple's "repair" service.  Oh, and it's a refurb unit, not brand new, so I guess I wasn't totally accurate with my description above.

Was happy to find this Saturday.

Issue one plus nine other issues for $6. EBAY for $100+

I bought almost 200 comics at Goodwill on Saturday. It was weird they had all kinds of old and new stuff and many were hot/good titles in unread shape. I used to collect so I know the market well enough and pick them up when I see a good deal.
  • TI N-Spire CX graphing calculator - $12

    Pioneer 115-D turntable / record player - $6

  • Found a complete Mego Flinstones set for $5 at a garage sale. Great condition. Had no idea what it was worth so posted it for $300 buy it now or best offer. Sold like 10 minutes later. Few weeks went by and my dad looked into it. Turns out that Mego Flinstones set is easily worth $1500 - $2000. That sucked. But still made $295 off of it.
  • Sometimes when i'm looking for games in thrift stores, I find movies and such that I want to buy. Found this box set this morning:

I never watched Miami Vice when it was new and I was a kid, but looking at it now, the show holds up surprisingly well! Nice deal for $5. now if only i can get the entire Breaking Bad for $5....

Does anyone else grab obscure B movies on VHS? I love sitting down and watching a cheesy B movie from time to time, especially if it's been on MST3K like Delta Knights below:

I found TOR: Mighty Warrior for $1 and had to buy it for the godly boxart alone. It's kind of a collectors item too. Fun fact: clips from the film appear during the beginning/ending credits in an MST3K episode, Cave Dwellers.

Edit: I just looked up what Miami Vice: The Complete Series goes for on ebay. I got super lucky today, it goes for about $100+
  • I found this in a bin at Goodwill the other day. Thought the Ducktales fans might get a kick out of it.

  • Some Gen 1 and a little bit of Gen 2 GI-Joe toys, Value Village tub find.

Base is complete, most of the vehicals were only missing one or 2 parts, mostly guns and missles.

Nikko Turbo Panther II Full Function RC car, These and Tyco Turbo Hoppers were all the Craze back in the 80's!

    Another Value Village rescue!

  • Feb. 27, 2015's Goodwill pickup. Both of these tapes were released in 1980. At the time, barely anybody owned a VCR due to the price and most people resorted to renting them. I paid $1 for both of them and as for value... it's up to someone who's willing to buy.
  • Vanguard Studios 3D sculptured wall art, 1967. Couldn't pass them up, pretty cool!

  • I found one of these today at a thrift store:

The pictures really don't do it justice.
