Yor least favorite games

My least favorite game for the NES would have to be Friday the 13th,Hate it       HA T E IT!!! its absolutely terrible and hardly follows the movie.

- secondly, I cant stand bubble bobble rainbow islands (its a little on the gay side)

- third, I cant stand Dr. Jeckle and MR. Hyde. Absolutely terrible in almost every way!

other than these, its hard to say that i realy hate any of the other NES games, or even  disslike for that mater.

    What's wrong with being gay?
  • I happen to hate Mr.Gimmick
  • Oh that was mean image

The game I hate most is Super Mario Bros. 3. Seriously.
  • Can't stand Castelian
  • Hate is a strong word, but I have a strong dislike for Xenophobe, Battle Chess, Silent Service, and the controls on Qbert
  • I find Battle Chess is much more playbale if you turn off the battle part and just view the board from above.

I use an old suggestion from the 2600 days, the Activision manual suggest holding the joystick as a diamond with the button up-top, so the diagonals are a bit more intuitive. I do this for the NES, also for Marble Madness it helps. Athough I've got to play for 20 minutes before I stop subconsciously rotating the controller back to level as I'm playing image It helps to hold by the top and bottom of the controller instead of the sides.
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I can't say i hate this game fully but I do dislike it. Every since i was 13 i've been trying to beat the game and I still can't image lifes so unfair
  • - Waterworld, for the VB. This game is beyond shit.

    - Volleyball, NES. Its near impossible to return the serve I find, even my GF wiped the floor with me at this game so I hate it beyond belief for this very fact.

Theres not many games I hate, but there are a lot of games I don't play because there not too great. But as we all know collectors collect anything to do with what there collecting, rubbish or not.
  • Battletoads for me. I love and hate the game as the same time. It is near impossible to beat even with cheat codes, I once broke a controller in half with my bear hands because of it, GRRR.

haha... with your "bear" hands, eh? That was a funny (and furry) mental image, and the Grrr at the end was a nice touch. image

And just to piss you off more, I can beat Battletoads without using a continue or warps or cheats of any kind, usually with my score being maxed out by the aqueducts, and on my best ever run, I only died 3 times, and 2 were at the Queen image image image

As for my most hated game, on NES it's Days of Thunder, hands down worst game on the system.

I try my best to amuse you Basil image

and I hate your soul. I am so bringing a NES to CGE next year and we are going to 2 player it now. I have to be able to say I beat it at least once, even if I have help LOL.

  • Well unfortunately there's a major glitch in the game that kills off player two on the second last level... so feel free to hate me even more image

(I could always kill myself off at the start of lvl 12 so we could continue, but still...)
  • I have a historical hatred of "Top Gun".  I owned it as a kid and could never refuel or land the plane.   I refuse to try it again as an adult although other people have posted that its not as bad as they remember.

  • I would have to agree with you that Top Gun used to Suck. I had it as a kid as well and had the same problem you did with the landing and refueling.
  • I hate Baseball!  I hate Baseball!  I hate Baseball!  You will never be able to convince me to play this game ever again.  It's not that the game is absolutely horrible, but the fact that my father made me play it with him all the frickin' time when I was younger.  BTW, I still need the box for this game as I only have the cart and booklet.  Thanks.
  • I think the most random game I ever got was Silent Service.  Don't plan on playing that again.  Skate or Die as well.

I honestly could never understand what's so hard about the landing.  All you do is follow the instructions and it works.  I did think it was an unnecessary part of the game though.
  • The only games I really can't stand on the NES were Hydlide and Romance of the Three Kingdoms... Controls were abysmal. I remember trying to play Hydlide, but all I could do was move around; I couldn't fight, use items, or anything. Romance of the Three Kingdoms...I dunno what it was, but the game just seemed to play too darn slow.

On Battletoads, I remember making it to level 8 several, several times, and somehow never being able to beat it. As hard as the game really was, I can't say it wasn't any fun, because it was, especially 2-player. There's nothing like watching a couple frogs beat the living crap out of each other, and actually earning points for doing so.

On Top Gun, when I was younger and actually sat and played it, I landed the plane successfully once. 'Twas the only time I ever did it, but it was quite an achievement for me then. I don't know what you guys are talking about regarding refueling difficulties...I never had a problem with refueling.
  • 2 games: Rescue the Embassy Mission, and Rollergames. Theyre horrible!!!
