My Walmart had no clue about the release and didn't even know where the amiibos where. Glad I was there at 8pm and waited. It was worth it too. Funny though they didn't have the game in stock
I got mine in (pic in the collecotr's thread). There ws an old dude and a younger guy in electronics. The younger guy knew his stuff. Old dude was clueless. They got one box of four Amiibo. One was "reserved" for pickup so three available to sell. I got there at 10:20. Another guy showed up at 11:40 to buy one for his nephew. After me and him checked out, there was still one gold Mario left to put out on the shelf. Whomever finds if first gets lucky, I guess...
The store I was at had 16 & there was 6 of us. So we huddled up and agreed on 3 each leaving 1 left. I was first in line so I got my amiibos and ran. What happened to that last one. No one will know

3 each would be 18+1 would equal 19
damn and my walmarts got jack. called 2 and a 3rd 25 minutes away
They only had 16 at mine I just counted people wrong. I can honestly say I'm not reselling my extra for profit. I will look for more tomorrow. I got nothing but time
Anyone have a rosalina they'd trade . I have a loose meta knight USA (with it's box, as well) and a sealed sonic + megaman. I really just want that rosalina...
I stumbled opon this thread looking for someone to trade amiibos for
I'm from Germany and am looking for a gold mario in box.
My offers
WFT
Marth
Ike
Lucario
Captain Falcon
Pit
All are european version new in box. Lucario has a slightly damaged card from a price tag.
I will only trade if I can ship after receiving gold mario
If anyone wants to trade and is interested in a second amiibo I will sell it for $18,50 (retail price plus PP fees) no extra shipping because shipping costs wont change for me if I send one or two.
Sooo It's about 8 hours or so until the SM Series of Amiibo go on sale here and we haven't seen any sign of gold mario.
I'm browsing the collection thread and see small mountains of them. Did some stores not limit them to 1 per customer?
Anyways I am still looking for one if you can help a fellow NA member out
This is Walmart we are talking about here. King of discount superstore shopping, where customer satisfaction and employee benefits come last. They literally don't give a flip if sixteen people buy one each or one person buys all sixteen. A sale is a sale to them.
Hey everyone I was at toys r us 2 mins to close. They had 14 toads. If anyone needs one let me know and I will be there at open to grab them. Shipping for one amiibo in us is $7
I'm looking for a Marth and a Villager still. I don't care about box condition or if they are opened.
if you dont care then Id just snag the Jap versions. Much cheaper. Will be even more so after the holidays
I did and they are on there way. The only problem is that I don't know if the writing on he bottom is in English or not. I ordered a random one to compare them before I open Marth and Villager to see if it's English or not. If it isn't I'll be selling them for what I paid.
The writing on the box is Japanese but the figures are virtually identical, any region. They have the same embossed logos on the bottom if that's what you are referring to.

No I meant the Amiibo itself, but they are English too.

Amiibos are light. Should be able to ship first class in a box for around 2-3 if you print through paypal.

Sorry I was a bit unclear. If you flip the Japanese Amiibo over and study the bottom of the base, the embossed logos and everything are identical to the US one. There is no difference at all once the figure is removed from the packaging. Japan and Pal Amiibo also come with a manual in the box; US Amiibo do not.
Anyone want the Mario amiibo without buying the mp10 bundle. It's brand new unopened . I'll sell it for cost plus shipping. I bought mp10 and found out you can only use wii motes so I returned the game bit they won't return the amiibo cause it does not sell on its own. I'll even give you the outer bundle box as we'll for a dollar more shipping. Again the game is not with it. So if anyone's interested pm me. 23$ shipped great chance to get the amiibo without buying the bundle.

He's right. Just shipped 2 Golds, in rather large boxes with bubble wrap and packing peanuts at 10oz for 1 and 11oz for the other. Cost less than 3.50 each.
I'm sure nobody will really need them, but I posted this in the Wave 4 thread too - there's an out-of-the way Toys R Us by me that rarely anyone goes to but still gets pretty current stock, and they're all jammed up with both the Super Mario Amiibos and some recent ones like Sonic and Mega Man. If you're having a hard time finding the new ones locally, let me know and I can totally help out.
I have an extra of each Super Mario series, Lucario with a smaller crease in the cardboard, Megaman and Sonic. I'd like to trade for another Gold Mario to help out a buddy who couldn't get one. If anyone has one and wants to make a deal let me know.

Who doesn't have a pile of old Wiimotes laying around? You don't even need the "Plus" variety.
Good luck on your sale.
