  • Finished Jeremy McGrath Supercross 2000. It's just okay. It seems all you have to do is finish a series to get the credits. I beat it on 125cc and 250cc and there was no difference. It's a really easy game. Decent graphics and music. It fails in track design they are all way too similar. I swore I raced the same track several times. The outdoor tracks are a little more fun than the indoor ones, so do yourself a favor and play the outdoor series only if you do play it.
  • Just did Virtual Pool 64. There isn't much to do, really. I won a tournament. The only other option is single match. I played 8 ball, but there are other game modes, like 9 ball, 6 ball, etc. Should we consider it done?

    Yes, I consider it done.
  • What makes Snowboard Kids complete? Just a gold trophy on every track?

Just complete all the races with gold trophies in the main mode, and I think this way, you can access to the credits.
  • A couple of pics from recently beaten games.

    Consider SBK done then.

  • Disney's Tarzan is beaten. Better game than I thought it was going to be. Did it 100% on all levels, which is a little annoying, as you must collect all special items during the run. You can't get all tokens in one, then go back for the TARZAN letters or art pieces. Good thing lives are fairly easy to get, by redoing older levels a few times, and bonus levels help there. Apparently beating it unlocks the hard difficulty, but playing the first level on it didn't feel different. Got a pic, which I'll upload with the rest one of these days.
  • I'm giving up on Jet Force Gemini for the time being. I'm not as far into the game as I thought and I'm finding it too frustrating to play right now. Onto something else...

I understand. Same thing happened to me with Mace : The Dark Age.
  • Rugrats in Paris: The Movie done. Some frustrating parts to this one. It's a big overworld, split up into five sections, and filled with mini-games. Screen that popped up after defeating Robosnail said to try on a harder difficulty... but I really don't want to. It was defaulted to medium. It played the credits, and said "The End" once the names finished up. Again, I got a picture, but not putting up this post.

I tried the Rugrats: Scavenger Hunt game. It's kinda like Mario Party, and has three different game types. Not my cup of tea, though. Remains open for anybody else to take on.

Its a shame because it is a good game but I find aiming to be very difficult. It really needed some kind of lock on system.
  • I started playing Snowboard Kids 2 today and I beat the first boss. Then I went to look how long this game would take me to beat it and everywhere I looked it said the game takes almost 20 hours. is this right? If yes, why does it take so long?

I havent played it in probably 10-15 years but I do remember it taking longer than I expected. 20 hours sounds a little high though. But again its been a while so I'm not 100%.

Looking at game faqs (http://www.gamefaqs.com/n64/198684-snowboard-kids-2/stats#time) and How Long to Beat it does seem like people take around 20 hours to beat it. I already purchase a level 3 board to make things easier but I have to try it yet.

Damn okay maybe it is that long. Its a fun game though.
  • I think I'm around half way through Hercules, though I've never played it before. Defeated two Minotaurs and am just about to enter the third lair. It's an alright game, so far. Feels like Ocarina of Time was a big inspiration for this one. Lot of similarities, just not as good. The lack of health items is rather annoying, as are very basic attacks.

I also started Gex 64, since I needed a break from Hercules.  I remember this one being pretty fun, and my memory must be good, since I can recall some of the levels and objectives.  Not sure if I ever did it 100% before or not.  I likely did, though perhaps not, if it was a rental.
  • Working on Conker's Bad Fur Day now - my favorite game for the N64!

Honestly, I'm surprised this one is not done yet.

I know, I'm surprised too. Lucky for me! :-D

Heh, I tried to get through Mace, too. So terrible. I guess it wouldn't be so bad if the movement wasn't so stiff. For a fighting game, that's a game breaker. My current project is Penny Racers, btw, which is a great game.

Never tried it. Me, I'm done with the Jungle levels in SSSV. This means I only have the Desert levels left, and I heard those are the easiest. The game should be beaten this week.
  • And Penny Racers is done. It's a really fun game. I enjoyed the stealing better parts from other racers by winning aspect. It does make for a little grinding, but that's ok. Most of the tracks are well designed and quite fun. Definitely a game worth playing if you like racing games.

Penny Racers is definitely underrated. Sure it's a simplified version of Mario Kart, but as far as I'm aware it's one of the first console games to have a built in track editor!

  • I beat Cruis'n USA last night only to realize it's already been done here. Lol. Oh well. Almost done with Conker! Just an hour or so left.
  • I guess I really need to play conker one of these days. I've had it for over a year now.
  • Space Station : Silicon Valley is conquered (100% completed) ! This game was made by DMA Designs, known today by the name of Rockstar North, those who made GTA. Well, I can say that this game can make someone a lot more violent than GTA can ! It is very frustrating, but I had fun with it. I would not say it's not good, it's just the fact that there are so many cheap deaths, and you need to start the levels all over again. This kinda ruined the experience for me, but I think my 100% completion (collecting all Power Orbs and all Gold Trophies) is the reason why I died that many times. Well, I would not say I love this game, but I found it nice, and I'm happy to have it. Great memories for sure ! I'd recommend it.

  • Hah. That's a funny ending.

We're not too far from 100. We should try to get there before June.
  • Nice job finishing SSSV! Love that game.
  • Hercules: The Legendary Journeys is done. Had some angry moments in the process, but got through it. Felt like the final boss battle against three Ares was going to be impossible, as I had no special powers and no way off Mt. Olympus to buy any. One more hit and I'd have died again on him, but killed one Ares just in time. Got pics, which will come soon.

Made more progress on Gex 64. Will take some time, though.
