Right at the end of Conker and looking back I think I forgot how frustrating some parts of the game are. I still love the game to death though. I'll probably finish it tonight.
Also playing Top Gear Overdrive on the side since I found it in the bargain bin at a local game shop, figured I'd give it a shot. It's actually really difficult. I mean it seems decent, but it's very hard to actually win. Or maybe I just suck.
Finished Conker's Bad Fur Day! Still one of my absolute favorites!
Next up - Banjo-Tooie!
I remember the "War" part to be the most difficult in the game. Well, congrats on this one ! I still can't believe it was not done before ! What surprises me the most is the fact that it was never beaten in 2014.

Yes the "War" part is by far the most difficult and my least favorite part of the game. The last hour of the game is actually downright infuriating. Took me three nights just to get through the war part alone. The rest of the game I love though. I can't believe no one here has played Conker this year or all of 2014. Is the game not loved? I certianly love it but I always assumed it was popular. Maybe I'm wrong though. At any rate, onto the next Rare game, Banjo-Tooie! I actually never finished this one and I only remember the first three levels so this should be fun!
Someone was working on Conker last year, but the topic lost all of its steam around June and I suppose even if the guy did finish it, he forgot about the topic or just didn't care since people had quit posting.

Gotcha. Makes sense. I plan on keeping the N64 momentum going throughout the whole year so I'll keep contributing as much as I can!

Yeah, I hope everyone keeps it rolling this year. I deployed last summer, so that's what killed it for me. Not gonna be a problem this year.
I was playing a lot of N64 at the beginning of the year but then I lost my will to play them, I didn't even finish Banjo-Kazooie and I was almost at its end.
Now I'm playing two N64 games: Star Wars: Rogue Squadron and Snowboard Kids 2. I really hope I can finally beat Rogue Squadron since I have this since I was a child and have never beaten it even though I love Star Wars.
I can't decide what I want to play next. I don't feel like doing more sports games right now, but those are pretty easy. I might try the Army Men games again. I've beaten Air Combat, but Sarge's Heroes is kind of tough. Never have tried SH2.
Mickey's Speedway USA is done ! Seriously, this is a very fun game from Rareware. It has good controls, nice graphics, unlockable characters, and a fast/dynamic gameplay. The difficulty is always rising up, which is something good for me, since I like challenges. I recommend this game too.
This is really a great game and the Chapter 3's missions are definitely not easy.
Sometimes I thought the game was too dark so I had to change some of my TV's configuration to increase the brightness but this was my only complaint about the game. And maybe the Chapter 3's missions could be a bit easier. Here are the screens:
Nearly done with 1080 Snowboarding. Expert mode is very hard. I always make it to the final race and lose. Snowboarding games are not my forte but I do love this game.
So I was wondering. What constitutes beating Tony Hawks Pro Skater? I beat every map with every character. Does that count?
Well, is there the Classic mode in it ? Like collecting the "SKATE" and "COMBO" letters ? If you complete this mode, I think it is finished.
Yea, that's basically what the game is. Collect S-K-A-T-E-, pass the high score and collect Hidden tapes(one each level) to get all 6 tapes from each level. Once you go through the game with character there stats increase. I guess I did beat the game. I'll post a pic later this afternoon.

It seems we need to start clarifying from the outset what you have to do to beat certain games. The NES topic has that. Of course, N64 games have far fewer ambiguous endings than NES games.

Definitely, but the problem is that I don't know how to beat every game (I have like 50 games in my N64 collection)...

Yeah, there's no database to refer to, either. I looked through the older topics to see what the other guys find out in previous years. The first year, they decided Wetrix was unbeatable, but last year, we went with default high score. Some games will give you credits for beating the game on an easier difficulty, but you can't get the true ending or play all the levels without beating it on a harder difficulty. Example: Dr. Mario well give you an ending and credits for winning on Easy, but you have to beat it on normal to play the final level and get the real ending. We need to decide how much is enough.
I will add a little database in the first post. It's OK for Dr. Mario, War Gods and Wetrix, but are there other games like this (that needs information on how it needs to be beaten) ? BTW, it's me, RetroMichel, I forgot that I was on my brother's account (I'm with him at the moment)...
I know Pokemon Puzzle League will give you an ending and credits for beating it on Hard, but you have to beat it on Very Hard to get the last level. It gives you the same credits either way. I believe Stunt Racer requires that you play on at least Normal. I've never played it, so I don't know if you get credits for beating it on Easy. I'm not sure about any others ATM.
Hey guys just wanted to say I will be joining in the fun, I contributed a total of 7 uncompleted games, and I intend on crushing it this year.
Lets do it guys !
Welcome rdools ! Cool to see someone else helping us with the completion.
BTW, guys, I'm actually doing Turok: Dinosaur Hunter. 5 levels out of 8 are done. It should be beaten this weekend.
It looks like there is a new point thing, is the list of how many points each game is worth? And can you update the high scores to keep track of how many games each person has beaten?

If you had this credits screen (http://www.nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?StartRow=51&catid=31&threadid=117987 (see dub's picture about THPS)), it is definitely done.
