  • There is a game store in Trussville, AL named iDa Gamer. I hate to even mention them since I went yesterday and was thrilled to see such bargain prices as Pocky & Rocky 2 for $279, Conkers for $130, Battletoads/Double Dragon for $90 and Mega Man 5 for $95. Needless to say I walked out with nothing which I don't know if I've ever said before :/

  • The Game X Change in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma was out of business the last time I tried to visit a month ago.
  • There is a new TimeWarpMedia store in Ellicott City Maryland(in addition to their Sykesville location already listed on here)

They have a facebook page for each store:

    https://www.facebook.com/TimeWarpMedia1MD -Sykesville locaiton

    https://www.facebook.com/TimeWarpMedia2MD -Ellicott City location
  • I went to "Retro 2 New" in Marianna, FL last weekend. Great store. Please add to the list.

  • All updated!
  • The Play N Trade in Richmond, VA is no more. It is now an independent used video game store called Bits and Pixels. Nice place!
  • In TN, Buybacks, Checkouts, and Digital Planet are all gone, and The Score is now in Murfreesboro.
  • Found a new store recently:

    Tsquared Video Games & Electronics

    Tallahassee, FL

    https://www.facebook.com/Tsquaredvideogames
  • The MicroGames in Cicero NY closed up recently. Looks like they merged their inventory back into the original location in Clay. I'm not surprised either, the few times I visited the new spot their selection in general was pretty barren. They don't seem to get enough trades to sufficiently stock two stores full of inventory.
  • Another Man's Treasure in Waterbury, CT recently closed up shop.
  • Sunken Treasures in Richland, WA has a website. http://www.sunkentreasuresgames.com

My girlfriend stoped in there a few months ago. She said it was mostly n64.

I shop at "retro to new" in Marianna.

There's a couple shops in Tallahassee, no?
  • Best one I have gone into is Trade N Games in Fenton, MO. The owner is a member here and is a top notch guy that runs a great business. has some great deals at times. He even knocked $10 off a copy of power rangers the movie on SNES because the label was a little rough. I really like that shop. We also have Slackers, V-Stock, but they WAY over charge. $65 for secret of mana and $50 for super bomberman 2. There is one more shop by the name of Retro Gamer in Belleville, IL and very disorganized but overall a good shop

They're always getting stuff in and they deal in as far back as NES up through current gen. Nice people, been dealing with Shane (the manager) and Chevelle (the owner) for.....at least 8 years now. Over the past year or so, they've gotten alot more retro stuff in, all the while still being a regular pawn shop as well.

  • Cape Girardeau, MO and Jackson, MO each have a game store called "Gaming Grounds."
  • Found another one in Alabama that I hate to mention for this purpose. Well maybe to help you guys avoid wasting your time. Almost Anything in Opelika, AL http://http://www.almostanythingopelika.com/ Unless you feel like paying $80 for Mega Man 6, $50 for Whomp'Em or $250 for Earthbound. It's a pass for me I'm afraid.
  • Recently discovered Bigfoot Video Games & Collectibles in Marietta, GA. Store is dirty, sales guy is pushy and talks smack about all the other local stores, and he uses pricecharting.com on the spot to sell games. I don't recommend this place, but hey, maybe it's your scene.
