  • Full set of Neo Geo Pocket Color systems complete. 6 normal "phat" colors plus one special edition (yellow, and the only limited model that there is), plus all 8 "slim" colors.

  • All of these pictures make me feel like the littlest nubcake in nubcake land. But here is most of my collection that I have out and ready to grab. My Playstation and Playstation 2 stuff is neatly boxed up until I get more room,

But, hey, I have a Picard action figure. That's cool. Right? Right!

I forgot how to forum and everything is squished. Just squint really hard.

lololjk I lied. I did it. I forumed.

  • Nintenshelf

The picture is kinda old but this is my Nintenshelf. I'll have to take a new picture soon.
  • Wiggy really? I mean what Is that but an ad?
  • We moved relatively recently, so I haven't had a chance to build out the shelving that I've been planning as an end game, but this is where everything is stored at for the moment:

Really nice, especially for a temporary setup. Do you like those Bit Boxes? I'm asking because I notice you only have certain games in them (maybe it's just too many games to box), and I'm about to order some cases, probably tomorrow, either those or UGCs (I see you have some of those, too?).

Also really want a set of these GB cases: http://www.customgamecases.com/#!blank-gb-cases/ckqy

  • Yeah I like the BitBoxes quite a bit, and definitely more than the UGCs. They are a little bulky and getting the artwork right is still a work in progress but I do plan on eventually having every game in one. I only have the 50 right now because they are decently pricey and only available from Stone Age Gamer so you have to order in bulk. In fact I've been torn recently on whether my next big purchase will be pursuing a copy of Metal Warriors or EVO, or getting 100 more SNES or NES cases.
  • Alright, I finally took some decent pics of my gameroom. If you've got a good eye, you'll be able to spot that things were added over the course of these pictures being taken. Also, some things have been moved around. More games have arrived since, but I figure it's time to post'em since I got'em...

  • Damn, Br81zad. That's a really nice space.
  • I like the blue walls. They make it feel calm and peaceful. The joysticks on the wall are cool too and I like the bar. You have a good amount of room there too so it's nice an open, not too cramped

Why, thank you! I still have a few things I'd like to add before I call it finished, but I'm really happy with where it's at right now.

I owe a big thanks to my wife for letting me take over the whole lower level of our split ranch. She doesn't get into the collecting thing, but she's been wonderful and cooperative with my wishes for the space.

Quality room my friend. The room designed has a major impact on my standards and this room is definitely well designed and laid out.

  • I love looking at these collection pictures! I daydream about the time someday in the future when I'll get to set up a game room. Right now my house is tiny, and we're cramped with clutter. Kids toys everywhere, lol.

If anyone is looking for any custom video game artwork(mostly bead sprites), hit me up. They liven up game rooms quite nicely, so I've been told. Pardon the shameless self promotion, lol.

    Thanks! I appreciate that

I need to get frames for the posters and I'd like to hang curtains boardering the projection screen (like in a theater). Hopefully I can get that sorted by the end of the summer.
  • Your game room is the bomb, Br81zad. I love how you have the controllers mounted up on the walls. Excellent use of space! Just seems very inviting, like "hey, I've got 4 Dreamcast arcade sticks right here, let's use 'em!"

Thanks, man. I definitely made the place with friends in mind. I always hated when friends came over to play and someone felt like they got the "bad" controller. We've all been there before and it stinks. I also want people to see what the room has to offer, so hanging them on the walls turned out to be a great solution for that. It also eliminates the chore of having to dig them out of a cabinet or box. I'd like to hang more controllers in the future. (I just need to figure out how to arrange them all so that it wont look cluttered  )

  • Thats an awesome room, so clean and organized. I even like the paint color of the room.

Looks like the place to be!
  • Here's a snippet of mine, full album is in my signature below!

  • Here is my current day collection. One of my main collecting/gaming objectives has always been not to take up too much space in my house,

so I try to stay as compact as possible and make it a welcoming space for people to come and play games, and not overwhelm anyone.

Nintendo Power from 1988-2000 & EGM from 1993-2007 mostly. Also some Gamepro, Official US Dreamcast, Videogames, and others.

I don't have a good spot for the boxes so they just stay in my closet.

You've definitely got the compact business down, tucked into that corner. Those Play It Loud CIBs caught my eye. Looks like you've got a nice stack of GB games in there, too.

I couldn't last five seconds if my TV was sitting like that.

    Coming along nicely, awesome.

  • Just remodeled the game room. Thought I'd share a couple pictures.
  • Once I've finally unpacked the remaining stuff, I'll take pics of my collection room(s). I have nothing compared to some of you guys, especially with regard to signage, but it's always eye opening to non-collectors.

I really need to get some shelves like that for my consoles. Setting up the consoles is the bane of me right now; I can't do anything too involved, as I'm probably about to move.

    Anyway, nice setup!

Nice setup! Where did you get that cabinet/stand with all of your consoles in it? I see a lot of them online, but I can never find where to get one(and I have zero carpentry skills).

I made it. I looked around and couldn't find anything that fit my needs so I decided that making something was the way to go. It's a heavy beast I'll say that much.
  • This is my current setup. I recently rearranged my room after I got these new game shelves.

I decided to separate the shelfs by cart only on the left, and boxed games on the right.

    Neo Geo games ^^

^^ I can't wait to move this up to the game room.
