NES Legend of Zelda gold sealed
So a friend of mine has a few sealed games he may want me to sell soon but the prices flux greatly on Zelda. I know condition is king but what should a nice sealed copy go for?
I told him not to use ebay and I would handle it for him w/o the huge fees. If he sells it will be here first.
I'll post pics when i get it in hand. But what area should i tell him to expect price wise?

$300 Sealed I can kinda see that. if its not a 95VG
Base price would be 300++
If you have the right version to the right collecter or how it doesn't pop up offen could really increase the price
would be nice if you could post something for US, as in photo(s) ...
Second, White Seal or Oval Seal or non-Rev A?
And your answer, assuming Gold cart and "nice" shape, $1000-$10000.

Don't want to derail the OP's thread anymore, but the "seems" part is the most accurate thing in your sentence.
Back on topic, pics/condition is everything. Have a feeling it's the re-release without seeing pics, but you never know.

Ok, last thing as it should either way be beneficial to OP. Taken from his comment in a reddit post about sealed Zelda's:
"A first print Zelda...well, I only know of ONE copy. The ones you see usually are the versions that say "Nintendo Entertainment System Classic Series" in a big red stripe at the top and sell pretty cheap and are available at all times.
Rarer though, they have the oval Seal of Quality and no red stripe at the top. Those are pretty rare as is, but still easy to get and relatively cheap.
Even rarer though is to find one with the Circle seal of quality- but they're available most of the time during the year on eBay at crazy prices...
Even rarer than that though, is the second print, which is the one that doesn't say "REV-A" in red text under the Seal of Quality, but has the ® symbol after the Nintendo Entertainment System logo...those show up once every two years maybe.
EVEN RARER THAN THAT! Is the first print. A First print Legend of Zelda even just CIB is extremely rare, it has the following markings.
Circle Seal of Quality
No "REV-A" under the seal of quality
™ Symbol after the Nintendo Entertainment System logo on the front.
I'd gladly fork over $3,000 for this."
Seems to me to know more than your average joe but maybe this is common knowledge around here? Either way, I'm sure OP will be able to find the help he/she needs here as there are many knowledgeable collector's from what I've seen(esp. sealed).
Here's Braveheart's rev list for reference. http://nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=5&threadid=41227

I covered all of that in my 3 sentence response above. You need to know the exact variant and condition, then price will fall out from that.
And $3k for a first print Zelda sealed is laughable, any big sealed NES collector would pay that for a nice copy. And you probably have better odds of winning the lottery than actually finding one.

Why is that laughable? There was an R logo Non Rev-A graded VGA 85 on eBay last summer (I think it was Bronty's?). I believe he wanted 2.5k for it IIRC.
Grey one's still cool, but it'd be really nice for you in any gold flavor.
I told him there were lots of variables and just asked if he remembered when it was purchased. No mention of value.
He's going to look for it and the few other sealed games this weekend.
