I figured since I work for VGA I should say hello here! If you have any questions about VGA let me know. I'm not a grader, but I can answer stuff either here or through PM.
Welcome! Not to be rude, but do you have any sort of proof?
If you email me at custserv@cgagrading.com I'll say hi
Aaaaaaand the results of my first submission, pretty pleased with the results.
^That Wario's Woods is GORGEOUS! Congrats on your submission!
Great job packing it up, as well. The biggest reason I couldn't ever do the VGA thing is that I'm already OCD enough; I can't imagine having to go through several days of ambiguity with my precious prizes making transit in the mail, lol. Great work!
I have an absolute mint copy of this 2DS so I was checking it out on eBay. There was a VGA listing from Bucky labeling it as a Gamestop exclusive. I have the exact same one that was bought at target. Am I missing something?
I believe for the Peach Pink 2DS it was a Gamestop exclusive, and then in April it became a Target & Wal-mart one as well. I'm not sure on the timeline or if the Target exclusive was Canada only (I think it was).

Not sure if this is the best place to post this but also not sure it deserves it's own thread. Should true Factory Sealed Wii or Wii U games have the Y fold seam down the spine where the title is? I've got a few new games like this from various retailers and wanted to find out if they were reseals before it gets more expensive to replace them.

I asked a fellow Wii U collector and he said he also has some games that are backwards, including some of the same as mine.
If these are legit, how would they be viewed by the graders? In the days of Gamecube I always heard that if the seam was on the side of the title it was a reseal. Would their be a deduction or possibly rejection based on the seam on the side of the title?

To me it makes no sense to call something exclusive if it's sold at more than one retailer.
In the US it is for sure 100% exclusive to Gamestop and was sold out almost immediately. It was never released at other retailers. In Canada it may be a different story.

Yeah, we got it at Target up here. I was just curious more than anything. I already sold mine for $150 USD a month or two ago.
How much would a tear in the seal hurt the grading and also what would a 3ds console cost to have graded want to make sure I'm reading the table correctly thanks. If needed I can post some pics of the game
Question: i have an n64 game but the opening sides are slightly squished in; it has not creased the box in any way. How much does this decrease it's evaluation?

Right away your not getting gold, silver is most likely but where in silver would have to be guessed from pics and of course the graders are the only ones who know for certain in the end.

Thats kind of what I assumed but i don't have experience with this specific type of wear. If that is the case, I am going to assume it's an 85; very nice besides the slight squishing. It's an MM CE so regardless I am very happy to have a very nice copy in the collection

Not true, I've seen 85+ and 90 on N64 that has light bowing inwards. If there is no crease and it has a built-in cart holder, it's not a huge flaw. Keyword is no crease and just very slight concavity. It's natural since there is no tray supporting the box in that area.
SNES had thick trays and N64 had styro blocks so they aren't prone to these issues.
duely noted. MM would fall into the category of having that built in holder (as far as I've seen) and the damage is as Jone states, slight bowing of the front of the box with no actual creasing / damage.
Im still on the hunt for a VGA red 90 and I think I found one that looks like it could get that grade. I am not a professional grader but I would like to hear everyones opinion on what grade do you think this pokemon red could get? I still didnt pay yet but I just wanna make sure this game could possibly get a good grade at least 90.
The seller says "The printing is perfect, as is the shrink wrap sealing of the box. There is no color fading as it's been packed away in bubble wrap for 18 years. I've dealt with older games quite a bit, and this is honestly, one hell of a find."
Thanks everyone for the help!! I truly appreciate it.

I don't think it is worth much, but I have never seen a GG game graded before (but then again I have never really looked )
EDIT: Also do they tend to lower the grade due to the plastic hazing? On that thicker kind of plastic used on said sega games?

What do you guys think about a genny game that is in great shape but with some fading on the spine label? Is it worth grading?
Fading like that wouldn't be too bad. Up to you.
Is this common?

Seems like we did (that was graded a few years back).

I also think snes games stored face up can get a natural concave shape as the cart sits lower than the sides of the tray and allows for some sagging.
3DS is under "Custom Size 1." I'm not sure about the game, but a tear would hurt the grade a bit, especially if on the front.

Maybe I will just sub it and see what happens. Thanks.
