Hello

Hi, Im Scotty. Ive been collecting nintendo for about 16 years and have been broke for about the same time(LOL), but thats how it goes. I mainly specialize in very nice looking/or mint carts in my collection and nintendo related items as well.  Ive made a few mistakes in trading over the years as many of us have(ouch), but many good finds as well to even it out.

I finally got my first NES on the Christmas of '87, and not a minute too soon, I might add. It was one of a very few things I received for that christmas. Yup, a control deck and a copy of super mario bros. and a copy of baseball. We didnt have much money, but it was still the best christmas ever! Any games purchased after that was with MY OWN MONEY. Over the earlier years I never did accumulate many titles as my friends had en massed huge collections, to my jealousless. Maybe thats one reason I do this now, but not the only reason. While all the systems of today have their 3-d capabilities and online this and that, it still doesnt come close to the simpleness and just flat out, gameplay that the 2-d NES games had(not including all titles). So, yeah, I do love this system above all systems and not to disrespect the atari 2600, as I had one of those in the early 80s by luck. That was a remarkable system as I collect that too, but c'mon, look at what atari put out in 1984 and look at what nintendo releases in '85.... worlds apart. Atari never could catch up, in my opinion.

So, this is me, immature, video-game collecting, geekafied dork listening to game music soundtracks on my saturday afternoons(my kids love it) while I wax the contacts on my 5 screw copy of Spelunker kind of guy. The awesome thing is, Im not the only one who does this. Sweet.
