Sharp Tv Is Acting Janky
I came home one day after a rainstorm and the clocks in my house are all reset. I figured power went down for a bit. No biggie. Reset all the clocks and sat down to play some Nintendo. Well, ever since the storm the alignment of the picture on the screen of my NES tv has been shifted over to the right by about an inch. Otherwise it performs normally. The tv is plugged into a surge protector. Any fix for this?

Check the back of the TV for a model number, look up the make and model for the service menu. There you could manually adjust the geometry of the screen yourself.
What you mean just look up the service manual?
Few guys in this group have the manual also I think there a link in the tv four post
look like your horizontal got messed up. can you adjust it? btw use a battery backup power supply to protect your stuff. its a lot safer than a surge protector.
Trying to figure out how I can adjust the horizontal. Currently combing through pdf's of manuals.
How expensive are power supplies?
They're pretty much batteries that all wear anti-thunder badges and can keep a computer/tv/whatever is hooked to it running for an additional 30 minutes to two-hours. Though the ones with the two-hour life span tend to be quite costly and are pretty much there if you're running a server cluster.
Neat things! Fun things! Amazing things!
I ONCE SAW ONE BLOW UP BECAUSE SOMEONE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A NEAT IDEA TO HOOK A BATTERY TO THE GOD DAMN THING AND... really, I don't know what they did but batteries were exploding and someone lost their job.
It wasn't me.

an uninterupable power supply can be 50 to 500 or more depending on what you're using them for. for that tv a 50 doller one will do fine.
