N64 Big Box Tarzan Value

Hello,  I have been a complete in box collector for the N64 for the past 2 in a half years and one thing I have been on the hunt for is the Big Box edition of Tarzan for the N64.  I have only searched for this on and off during this time frame but I have not personally seen any for sale.  Has anyone personally seen one of these sell and if so, how much did you see it go for.

Also does anyone currently have one complete that they would like to part ways with?  I would love to add one of these to my now nearly complete in box north american N64 collection. (Missing Stunt Racer manual Grrr lol)

Thanks for your time and assistance in this search.

  • One sold from Italy on eBay late last year, and two changed hands on the forums (one was mine) last year as well. It's definitely comparable to the Rampage Big Box w/ plush in terms of value... you have one of those as well?
  • I do not actually own a copy but I was trying to guage value if I was ever presented the opportunity to get one. I kinda have a sense of value where the rampage end up and I kinda figured tarzan might be up there but never actually seen one sold. As of yesterday I made one of my final purchases in regards to a complete in box N64 collection and now I am considering the odd ball varients might be something I pursue in the future like Rampage 2, Tarzan and of course gauntlet legends.
  • Hey Jone, do you mind disclosing the sale price for yours?
  • I'd rather not say, but Rampage Big Box is definitely a comparable in terms of value.

Absolutley understandable. Do you know if there is a running total, or how many confirmed copies exist? Is it in line with Rampage Big Box?
  • Probably at least 5-10 confirmed ones that I can think of offhand.

good thing gauntlet has become a cheapy well at least the box that is, don't know about any of the figures.

Are you looking for the Target pre-order big boxes too? Or the random variants like toy story, fighting force, nfl blitz etc etc?

  • I guess the big ones at the moment like Tarzan, Rampage two and guantlet.  Not sure what the blitz varient is but I am sure you are refering to the movie ticket edition of toy story and i bleieve fighting force with stickers?  Those would be nice as well once day.  I have even consider getting the 1998 game of the year varients of the Golden Eye boy and LOZ OOT.  I did see another post on Nintendo age with some other varients as well that might be pretty difficult to track down.  So I guess the first three I mentioned would be a beginning start.  I would however look into the other ones if they came my way.

  • Wow the funny thing is a link to a post I don't remember making haha.  I did not even notice that was my post til just now lol
  • There's a thread on N64forever that compiles all of the "Big Box" variants. Thought it also has all sorts of NTSC-J / Brazilian / European stuff on it as well:

  • I just saved that list to my favorites. I use that site from time to time but since I do not have feedback on the site it will not let me post anything. Not sure how to get it so I can. Same with Nintendo Age. I hardly use this site sadly so I do not have much feedback. I am very active with Facebook gaming pages however so that is normally where I turn to for questions and stuff. But sometimes Nintendo Age seems like a better place to come due to all the knowledgeable people here.
