I have no idea on these things as the prices on the guides fluctuate so much, let alone a sealed. I'm curious how the price of a unsealed to sealed differentiates.
How do you know it is actually new/factory sealed and not just a store reseal?
The only new/factory sealed player's guides direct from Nintendo that I have seen, came in a different kind of wrap with vent holes, seam down the back, and usually had a mailing address label from Nintendo stuck on the back cover.
I have an actual factory sealed Link to the Past guide and a few Twilight Princess Wii version guides + Soundtrack. I know last year I saw a factory sealed Chrono Trigger and Game Boy Player's guide and all of them had an address label under the plastic.

Well, this was bought it in Europe. The original owner who I bought it from claimed to have bought this years ago from a store years ago and he has had it in a closet ever since.

There were lots of stores that would seal up new guides that didn't come factory sealed.

I would agree that more often than not the stores were sealing these themselves to sell.
It may get more than a normal price because of that fact, but personally if I can get them this way I do as I know the insides will be a SUPREME VICTORY!
