Gamecube Controller Not Working

So I plug it in, try to press start and it never recognizes the controller. I investigate the cord a bit closer and notice a few small slices in the cord. Perhaps some are too deep and damaged the cord.

Does anyone sell replacement cords for controllers?

You could pick up an extension cord and cut the female end off then solder it to the board. That's what I would do.

Apologize for my novice knowledge of repairing. What exactly do you mean by "extension cord"? Is there a common spot to buy these?

unless you are terribly attached to that particular controller, I'd just buy amother one. p. m. me if u want to buy a tested and working nintendo one from me
