I am a long time lurker since 2012 but have never posted before as this is not usually my internet style. I am the likely moron that placed what turned out to be the winning bid on this auction. The funny thing is, I decided to place a max $700 bid for shits n giggles more than anything not expecting to have a chance of winning. Like many- this is the last black box needed to complete my connection. I was a bit skeptical for some of the above listed reasons but decided to roll the dice. The negatives are already listed, I guess my thinking was that it had a chance to go for less because it was such a short auction, and I figure not everyone is great at posting lots of detailed photo or providing a thorough description. I ofcourse was not aware of the fact this is a reused photo from a previous auction. I wish I had known that obviously. Regardless, this will be interesting to see how it plays out- so I thought I would bring you guys along for the ride. FYI I immediately did make payment once the auction ended. I will see if seller ships on Monday, and will keep you guys updated, and will post photos of item I receive as I will obviously need your guys's expertise to determine it's legitimacy as I am an entry level collector.
A little background- I own about 60 NES CIB that I have displayed front box out in my office/man cave (I work from home running my business) so I spend alot of time in this room and take great enjoyment from just looking at these on a daily basis. I also have a 5 year old son who loves playing the games as well looking at the boxes and always asks me I old I was when game x came out which I get a kick out of. We have fun playing Wii U as well but he also loves what he calls "Old Nintendo" lol.

Just wanted to provide an update on this... so as predicted a week has past and no notification from seller that item shipped and I have not received item in photo or any item. On Friday morning at beginning of 5th business day since end of auction I emailed seller asking him if he had shipped item and as of Saturday afternoon had received no response so I called ebay to open up a claim and request refund and let them know that photo used in this auction had been used in previous auction by different seller (thank you guys for the heads up on this, much appreciated you guys rule). Looks like I can call Thursday to complete refund process.
