Programmer Wanted! for very cool project.
Hey I am creating a side scroller platfromer. I designed the levels and created a map key system to help you understand the level design. I am currently getting all the artwork, music and sprites done as we speak. I just need someone to actually program the game and make it playable. I would like to take all the elements from all the gens of gaming I lived through (best of NES-NOW) and merged them into one experience kids and adults now can enjoy. The best way to explain this game is sonic mixed with Yoshi's island. with some wall sliding similar to the new wii Mario or super meat boy if you are familiar with that game. the game is for kids so it will be very challenging but not super hard. There will be some levels that switch in genre (for example: there might be a level where you're swimming, or a level where youre flying and it plays like Gradius). Before I look to hire someone, I would like to know if anyone on here is capable of making such a game. Also be available to video chat as I would like us to communicate thoroughly and explain my vision as clear as possible as well as get feedback from you, etc.

I would like to be realistic in terms of goals so yeah It would most likely be a mobile game. But ideally I would like it to be on multiple platforms.

Ok and Ill get you an example of a platformer Ive created. Keep in mind, there isnt really any art as I am not an artist. It is basically just platforming template
Are you paying to develop this or are you looking to partner with someone?
Either or. I can hire for the work itself or we can partner up. Id actually prefer to partner, but it doesnt really matter at this point since most of the conceptual work is already being completed. I think it would be better overall to build a repour and partner up though.
