Replacing Hori Mini pad sticks?

Hey guys, I recently picked up a mini pad for the n64 due to the rgeat reviews and supposed durability. It's great! However I tend to worry about the life of my controllers in the long run. Is it possible to replace the stick on a mini pad with an exact copy if it ever wore out? Should I pick something up now in case that ever happened? Thank you I couldnt find any information on this.

    I have one of these and honestly, I think it is WAY better constructed compared to the OEM N64 stick. Is yours loose at all? I don't foresee mine slowing down any time soon, high quality.

    I have worked on these before- best n64 controller. Do you mean the actual stick soldered to the board or the rubber/plastic cover?

    I am talking about the actual stick, or whatever internals keeps the stick in good condition. 



    I agree they will be hard to wear out but eventually... Considering what I paid i'd like to be able to refurbish it if I ever want to.

    It's been a while- but if I remember correctly it uses the same analog stick as a Logitech wireless ps2/Xbox controller.

    Ok thank you. The mechanisms and everything? Or just the stick.
