Selling a 3ds xl

I am wanting to sell my animal crossing 3ds xl edition. Does anyone know how to get my personal information off the system? I need to "unsync" my nintendo account from the system.



What if I do a factory reset, will the animal crossing game be on the system? Thanks for any help.

    Once you do a reset the game will be lost, but it's really the only way to clear all your data. Most of the time the game will be linked to your account, so there isnt really any way to leave it on there unless you give away the account you used on the DS.

    if you do a system transfer that removes your information and puts it on another system. this is the only way i know to save data off one 3ds
