Id say that is HOS worthy

  • Was it a domestic or international deal? I've had international deals linger on for months due to shipping. How long has it been since you two were in communication with each other? 3 months is long enough that I would recommend getting a mod involved and seeing what route to take. Especially if it's a domestic deal. Either way I hope this turns out well for you!

Yes It was an international Deal from Australlia. But I have done many transactions with a friend in Australlia, and I got it right away!

The lack of communication is what is the deciding factor in this case in my opinion.  I sold a colecovision title to a guy in Mexico and it took just shy of 3 months to get to him.  However, if the communication lines aren't open on both sides then it definitely would mean time for a mod to get involved.  You did your part, you paid, you're waiting to receive your item.  3 months for an international item even is a long time.

    Best of luck!

  • This is precisely why I don't do Australia(or most international. First time shipping there I got scammed for over $400 in damages. No tracking, really unreliable post service, tons of scammers because games are hard to get there. Not saying all Aus. buyers are scammers but just that it's a somewhat high risk zone. 3 months is without a doubt HoS worthy either way and you are likely screwed on any PayPal recourse by now :/.. Hope things work out and DEF. contact a mod asap.

  • Late, but agree with others. 3 months is a long freaking time. Bringing it up in the HOS or to a mod doesn't necessarily get the person in trouble, just gets people aware of it and gets the process started if it comes to that - which is what needs to be done. Sucks though. I've done very minimal transactions outside the country, but have been lucky for the most part. Hope it all works out for you.

If someone has taken your money and not held up their end, it's in everyone's interest to know about it. You should post in the HOS about this, which will get someone higher up here involved. If you end up receiving your item you can decide if you want to pursue the guy as a time waster, or let it slide and that'll be the end of it. If not, then he rightfully gets added to the HOS and you should file a paypal claim to get your money back.
  • HOS & contact Paypal.
